Re: What kind of Resistance Wire in the Moog Ribbon Controll

I was just rebuilding a micromoog ribbon and with Kevin Lightner's advice he said that the conductive strip must be silver - or better, you could use gold .. Copper won't do I guess.. He said one work around could potentially be using a silver conductive pen and draw a tracing on the back of touch s...

I love reading stories on here about what an amazing job Kevin does on everything he touches! My Minimoog is the coolest minimoog ever thanks to...

Re: PolyTheremin

What would be great is if the joke was on us this year..

A polyphonic theremin?

That would be the ultimate joke. To have us assume it is a joke, when it isn't..

Anyway.. ha

PolyTheremin

This had to be the most well thought out, well produced April fools hoax yet.. I love Cyril and Amos in the white coats, as if they walk around the factory like that! Also, getting Dorit in on it was classic. She even says " Its easier to play than the mono theremin".. lol The technology u...

Re: Please help me with my Minimoog. I've done all that I c

Maybe a kb voltage thing, but I'm not a very experienced tech.. just a bit.. you said all oscs are sounding without a note depressed? Can you figure out which note it is? Is the contact spring on that note not touching the buss bar assembly correctly? This is what I'd check.. But it sounds like that...

VPO Moogfest pics/review

Hey Moogies, Wow Moogfest 2010 was awesome. We are still coming down from all the excitement! Playing with Bernie Worrell is always fun, and it was very special to have the youngest Moog endorsed artist (our daughter Eva) and the oldest, most important Moog artist EVER play together on the Orangepee...

Re: We don't need no stinkin' badges...

Sorry to butt in, but this kinda bleep has to stop on the forum. I think for whatever reason, it is not fair to Kevin and Monica to trash talk them! They have both been there for all of us when we need them, providing priceless information and otherwise impossible to obtain parts! I AM personal frie...
