Re: FYI...

Sending well-wishes your way, Kevin. You've helped me with my synth issues countless times. It's always been informative (and exciting!) reading whenever you post. That includes back in the AH hey-day. Please stay in contact with your fellow synth fans.

Re: Found info on the 901D and a modular patch book

Very cool, CZ! How did you find out about this book? Have you tried any of the other documented patches?

Re: moog 901a/b clone available from SYNTH-WERK.COM

Okay, thank you for the info. Do your 901a/b modules use the same voltages as the original Moog modules? I'm not currently ready to add more modules, I just wanted to get an idea if the opportunity came up.

Re: Moog Modular Patching Question...

I'm new at this as you are, Eric but there is a thread on Muffs in the STG section about how to go about getting 'that' sound. Suit trims/calibrated the module before shipping the mixer but your mileage will vary based on signal levels going in and the type of signal, etc. JLR to the rescue, he put...

Re: Bring back the Moog Modular

Getting back to the original subject in this thread - something to consider is that there are probably a fair number of Moog modular owners that would love to add new modules to their system. I'm sure there are systems that are missing a few modules, and probably many modular owners with only a few ...

Re: Would people like a modular if it didn't have patchcords

Something that would be cool with a system like this would be sequenced/clocked routing. Can you imagine having a patch that would be able to switch a filter's input from a saw to square to a ring mod signal? All under a variable clocked rate control. The possibilities there are very interesting. E...

Re: Anyone use Synthesizers.com Stuff?

I own a few of their modules which I bought used. They are built very well, the controls feel nice, and the performance is great. I haven't noticed any tuning issues, other than a slight error when using the range switch in the highest octave setting. All that's required is a slight tweak to the fin...

Re: Can really an moog modular be cloned today?

Oops, by the way - CZ Rider, your mp3 sounded fantastic. Do you have a different mix with a Mellotron and synth strings added? I'd love to hear it! Also, congrats on the show in Philly. That sounds like it was a lot of fun!

Re: Can really an moog modular be cloned today?

Reading this thread brought to mind that everyone (on the planet, that is) has different experiences, perspectives, views, desires, etc., etc. about all things in life. Whether it's cars, synths, presidents, what-have-you, people will think about them differently. Do these different views make eithe...
