Re: How to record theremini in Logic Pro

There is some confusion in your post - you say you're playing the handpan via mic, but connecting to Logic Pro with a MIDI cable? So you have a MIDI interface, but not an audio interface? (oh wait, I see now that you mention the iRig). MIDI cables don't work with audio signals, so maybe you mean an ...

Re: System 35

Do you mean the Amplifier module? This controls the response curve of the amplifier - you can think of it as having two "speed" options, fast (exponential) and slow (linear). As an example, if you connect an envelope as the modulation source, the T1 (Attack, or fade in) and T3 (the fade out - also c...

Re: Model 15 and 953 triggering

Using a kludged-together Y-cable, I have discovered that the sustain issue goes away when using the Synthesizers.com keyboard. So the sustain issue is clearly coming from either the 953 or CP-11 and, given the number of other issues that the 953 has, I would guess that it is the culprit here, too. I...

Re: Model 15 and 953 triggering

Alas, reseating the cable didn't help. I have tried repeatedly to 're-calibrate' the keyboard (holding down D3 when powering up) and have gotten different - though no less faulty - results. Now Control channel 1 is partially working monophonically, while control channel 2 only works duophonically. T...

Re: Moog Modular with MIDI (and 953)

I am having the same ‘sustain’ issue, but with my brand new 953 and Model 10. This is just one of the many issues I am having with the 953... at least I hope it’s only the 953 and not the CP panel. I can’t use channel 1 of the 953 monophonically at all, but I can use channel 2 monophonically. Howeve...

Re: Model 15 and 953 triggering

Thanks for the response, and thanks for the help (despite my confusing post). I will try re-seating the cable between 953 and Model 10 this morning. It would be lovely if that did the trick. Regarding the 953, I am not using the Synthesizers.com cables, just connecting it up as instructed in the "ma...

Re: Model 15 and 953 triggering

Digging up this old thread, as I have just taken delivery of a Model 10 and a 953 today. Much to my annoyance, I think my 953 is faulty. The triggers only fire from the channel 2 outputs and if I have both envelopes connected, the sustain is always behaves as if the knob fully up (in other words, th...

Another great (and too short) track. That Nyborg bass sounds great. Very John Carpenter, this one.

Re: Grandmother pitch tracking issue

Sounds like you need to calibrate the pots - something for which you’ll need SYSEX files from Moog. Contact support - mine had some issues and they were very helpful and got me up and running very quickly.
