Re: Minitaur visual quality
OK now I see it Maybe your panel is defective, but I don't know anywhere on this forum where you can report warranty problems. Maybe you should try https://www.moogmusic.com/ I contacted Moog the day after I unboxed it and noticed the graphics. I registered the Minitaur and after contacting Moog cu...

Re: Minitaur visual quality
No comments maybe because no one else sees the visual defects you're talking about? Your Minitaur looks no worse than mine. That's a very cool avatar. Click on the pics. They show the zig-zag line quality. I agree, they might not bother everyone, though I'd seen smooth graphics on earlier Minitaurs...

Re: Minitaur visual quality
No comments? 90+ views, surely there might be a few thoughts on the visuals. I'd completely agree that the aesthetics wouldn't affect sound, but other Moog items I've seen (Mother 32, DFAM, GM) don't look like the pics above. Does the Sirin have similar jagged graphics, or is this the exception to t...

Re: Minitaur visual quality
Moog is saying that all forthcoming Minitaurs will have this degree of jagged graphics. Ones I'd seen from the earlier batches did not have this appearance.

Minitaur visual quality
I just received a Minitaur last week, and was extremely excited to start in making noises with my Mother 32. I unboxed the Minitaur and was pretty disappointed with the visuals. The smooth black finish and white graphics which had a jagged edge to the lines. The bull even had blobby paint in the gra...

Re: Looking to add DFAM & Mother - question about 2x, 3x set
Not experienced at all in semi-modular not eurorack set-ups, but here’s my view… just to have anyone reacting ;) I’m the kind of guy who likes exploiting an instrument to the point where tricks are needed to go further. I don’t like having too much at once as I feel like I cannot fully enjoy everyt...

Re: Looking to add DFAM & Mother - question about 2x, 3x set
Anyone? Lots of views, so I don't think I'm alone in asking the question.
Just looking for feedback or experiences with 2x or 3x setups - are they more in a good way, or is there a point of diminishing returns?
Thanks!

Looking to add DFAM & Mother - question about 2x, 3x setup
I’ve been looking to add a Mother 32 to my music room (and move out some of my prized FM synths). After the release of the DFAM, I’m looking toward that option as well. The question I have is that I see the advantages of multiples of either unit. 2x in a rack lending more flexibility and dynamics. I...

MoogerFooger power supply question (EU / US voltage)
Quick question
Would a MoogerFooger sold in the EU (sold with the 220v adapter) be used with a 110v adapter here in North America?
I’m assuming the only difference is the adapter and will provide the same voltage to the pedal.
Is this correct?

Re: Shipping & receiving in hot weather - any concerns?
Rest up, chicken little. The sky is not falling. Electronic components are designed for a storage temperature, which is hotter than you'll ever see. Operating temperature however is lower. Just let your gear cool down in your dwelling before you power up, and you'll be fine. Thanks. That was what I...

Shipping & receiving in hot weather - any concerns?
I was curious if anyone has had any issues with their gear (synths, pedals, modulars) when shipping during summer months. I tend to be reeeeealy OCD, and try to pick up the equipment at the delivery hub in the mornings. Though I know if an item is shipped, it's going to spend some time in a freight ...

Re: New to the forum - longtime Moog fan
Hey! Welcome to the forum!! :) If you happen to have some experimental approached sound online, feel free to share. Thanks. I absolutely will. I do need to organize and edit my noisemaking room when the modulars move in, so far I’m not using any editing software. Though I’m sure I’ll be learning th...

Re: Claim of delays on Grandmother on Gearslutz
I was wondering that myself while reading this thread. I haven’t (yet) joined muffwiggler though there seem to be interesting conversations there.Acid Mitch wrote:Is there a better place than Gearslutz to talk about synths, drum machines and electronic music ?
