Re: Need Help - What's It Worth?

I was corrected by Doug himself shortly after I made my now infamous comment regarding the Duracell Mini. I myself am not even the slightest bit knowledgeable in electronics what-so-ever. I am however a musician and synthesist since the mid 70s. And as the old adage goes, "I may not know anythi...

Re: Need Help - What's It Worth?

I went through this when I sold my Memorymoog. Some said I was crazy when I let it go for 3G. But I ended up selling it to a very close friend and the 3G met my needs for redesigning my keyboard rig. That and the fact that it's 'still in the family' so to speak gives me ongoing comfort. That was in ...

Re: MemoryMoog on Ebay...guess how much

As you all know, I had a Memorymoog Plus that I sold to a good friend back in January for 3G. This was a price strictly for him since I'm very close to him and I liked the idea of keeping it in the family. But I could have held out and probably got 4 to 5G for it, especially if the economy picked up...

Re: Voyager - KARMA, "The Silent Way" and Beyond!

Spittingoutteeth is so right. I failed to mention that the original Minimoog is just as viable today as it was when it first came out, and that the Voyager is even more so with it's massive routing capabilities and other up-to-date improvements. Throw some Moogerfoogers in there and... OMG! The poss...

Re: Voyager - KARMA, "The Silent Way" and Beyond!

If you are a young, new to the industry keyboard player you have to know what you are getting into if you're thinking of buying a Voyager. It's not a cheap synth, and it's not for the timid. Voyager is an instrument designed for screaming leads and bass lines. It's MONOPHONIC - and this isn't a draw...

Well, that's it Knob Twisters. Moog Forum member AND a very close friend of mine Vince Ascoli will soon be the proud new owner of my dear Memorymoog. Vince is a singer/keyboard player. In fact, he was the singer of my old YES tribute band, RELAYER back in the mid 90s. He's currently putting a web pa...

...You know, this thing looks like a cross between a Crumar DSII and a MiniMoog. I've owned both, and... OMG - You don't think... I was in Russia at the time... it was a cold and lonely night. I felt sorry for my poor synths, they'd had such a work out... I took them out of their flight cases and le...

After thinking hard about the sale of my Memorymoog, I've come to the conclusion that in all honesty, I'd take 3G for her in a heartbeat. In fact, when I put her up in EBAY for sale, that will be the starting bid. I thought that I would post here that I'm trying to be realistic about what I can get ...

It breaks my heart, but I really must. She's been in the ATA case almost as long as it's been back from your place. I just don't have the heart to gig with it. It's by far the biggest WOW factor I've ever had in my rig and will probably never have again. But it's in such wonderful condition I just c...

I only remember you calling me and telling me that the sequencer part of the mod was creating some minor problems and that it would be best if it was simply removed and that it would be better for the machine. We both agreed that it was ridiculous in the first place, so I said something to the effec...

Memorymoog Plus for sale

After long and careful thought... I really AM selling my precious Memorymoog this time. And, if that's not enough I'm willing to sell it to people overseas. How 'bout that? Asking Price: $4000.00 US Buckereenos, or best offer. NEW PRICE FOR MOOG FORUM USERS: $3000.00 (see below) Euro users.... the U...
