I don't have the Alesis, but I'd bet you can. The thing is, you'd probably have to map the midi that the Alesis is putting out to whatever function you wanted to control on the Voyager. So you would need software that would do this translation for you. If that ends up being the case, there's free so...

Well for 2k you could pretty much fill up a dot com 22 space cabinet - assuming you got the cheap cab type, or better yet, built one yourself -- Roger even has a how-to on his web page, and you could use much nicer wood than whats suggested there. I don't have any first hand experience with MOTM, bu...

Someone will come along soon and give you a more professional answer -- but a filter sweep is just moving the filter through the range of frequencies it, um, filters. Play a note and turn the knob. An LFO is a low frequency oscillator, it puts out waves at a sub-audible frequency, and you can use th...

You guys might find this interesting. I did an A/B comparison with the Dot Com and the Voyager for another forum. I ran them both with the same sequence, first as a saw (at about the 4 mark on the Voyager, and straight out of the saw jack on the Arrick), then as a square (which as harder to match, I...

Yes, you can sequence notes. Just send one of the channels gate to the envelope gate on the Voyager, and the cv out of the same channel to the pitch on the Voyager. Then you can do some cool things like set some of the steps to slide and play with the slide amount on the frostwave, as well as the ga...

I use the Frostwave Fat controller with the Voyager and it's great. I often use either Cubase or the Future Retro Revolution to sequence notes, and the frostwave to sequence things like filter and wave. I send a midi clock from the computer to keep it in time. But when I first got it I'd use it for ...
