Minitaur Factory Patches?
I need to install the 2.x factory patches to my Minitaur and have used the sysex linked to in the Moog's support site but it seems to be corrupted. Though it seems to work, many of the patches are randomly blank, displaying "Init" from the Editor. Does anyone have a working sysex of all th...

Moog needs better demos
Sorry, I've posted three consecutive threads; I'm just excited about receiving my new Moog E1. One thing I've noticed is that the demos for the guitar have been mediocre. Based on the demos alone, I would have never bought one - but I understand the potential of the guitar. For me, I see the greates...

Using MoogerFoogers with Moog Guitar?
Has anyone found any creative ways to combine MoogFooger or controllers with the Moog guitar?
I'm all for supporting Moog by buying additional gear, but I don't see any good fits between MoogerFoogers or controllers and the Moog guitar, beyond what you could do with any normal guitar.
Thanks,
Mark

Applying an Envelope to CV in?
I just ordered a Moog E1 but it won't be arriving until next week. In the meanwhile I've been wondering about certain possibilities. As I understand it, the Articulated Filter is like an auto-wah, but using the Moog filter. I was wondering if instead there was a way to trigger an ADSR envelope using...

Moog Guitar Model E1 - $3295!
In the recent Sweetwater catalog they have the Moog E1 guitar which looks exactly like the Paul Vo edition but without the fancy top - and the price is only $3295! Immediately I searched online to find more information, but there is no mention of it, not even on Sweetwater's webpage. Maybe Sweetwate...

Surprisingly those Roland pedals last a long time despite the all-plastic build. My first I bought when I was in my teens (I think it was the same model - it looked the same) and lasted me 10 years before I gave it away - and maybe it's still going strong. My current one is 10 years old and showing ...

Voyager Output - +4dBu or -10dBV?
I'm connecting my MMV to a device that expects a +4dBu input, but when I connect my MMV to it I have to turn the MMV volume up to 10, and even then it is not very loud.
Doe anyone know if the MMV outputs at +4dBu or -10dBV? I couldn't find the specs on the output listed.
Thanks!
Mark

KB Cont Amount Question
I was just playing around with "KB Cont Amount" setting and noticed that you can't set the filter cutoff to track the keyboard 1 to 1. When I did some testing, with the KB Cont Amount set to 10, I have to play a note an octave and a fifth higher to get the filter cutoff to increase an octa...

For those that have had the Filter Glide fix done, are there any regrets? I was planning to get this done (actually, my MMV is at the factory now!) but the idea of screwing up many of the presets worries me a little. If they are easy to tweak back to normal, no big deal. I'm curious if I could insta...

I spoke to a nice woman at Moog Music today and she clarified a couple of things for me. First, for the field upgrade, if you have Blue Wheels already you need to buy the Blue Wheels Upgrade kit since the wheels are mounted on the left-hand controller. Second, I confirmed that the Filter Glide fix i...

I don't understand the whole grey wheels or blue wheels option with the aftertouch fix. Does the aftertouch circuity reside on the same board as that the wheels are mounted on? If you already have blue wheels, do you need to pay the extra money for the blue wheel kit? I think Moog needs to clarify t...
