Re: Reese Bass patch technique

Thank you, that cleared it up. I appreciate the help. I'll play around with using the MFs and if I come up with some cool techniques I'll post it here.

Reese Bass patch technique

I found an article by Oliver Brown related to creating a "Reese" bass patch: http://www.articlesnatch.com/Article/How-To-Program-A-Heavy-Dubstep-Reese-Sound---Secrets-Revealed-/676680 It's a failry simple piece, but helpful. I would like to exapnd what is covered in the article to cover th...

Touchscreen Friction

Does anyone have any good ideas that will make your finger have less friction to use on the touchscreen. I've thought of a piece of nylon/silk with a rubber band or dipping my finger in candle wax but, it seems these would do damage to the surface. My finger "jumps" instead of sliding. :?:

I belive Moog said that the re-tooling would be too costly and that the goof wasn't noticed until the Voyager was well into production. I propose someone (Moog) designs a thin magnet with the right font and type size to match that can be placed over the error. Or, we can just live with it.

I saw a similar set up that didn't use surgery. The iventor hooked up probes and steered a sail boat by moving a dot on a screen with his mind. The steering wheel would turn when he made the dot go up or down...pretty cool. He wanted to develop it for fighter pilots.

Hi bulletproof, send me an email I will send you a fix for that problem. Have fun, Rudi Can we all please have the fix? I haven't done MIDI recording on my DAW with the Voyager so I haven't hit that wall yet, but I know I will becuase I use that feature pretty frequently for other synths. Hopefully...

i like the monom better too. the tenori on is a bit visually overloaded. i like minimal thing. but i dont like computers, so the sampling from a flashcard in the tenori-on is quite nice. you could do a whole interesting gig with only that one thing. It also has a 256 preset sound bank from the Yama...

They are both nice. I'm not sure what the Monome is going for. The Tenori-On goes for about $500-$600 I believe. I think they're being sold in the UK. It is limited in it's sampling power, but the sequencer is very nice, and the lights would be sweet for a gig if you had a mount (maybe plexiglass) s...

OK, I just talked to Moog and it was pretty simple. I was doing the right steps by using the MASTER MENU and "Receive Presets." I didn't switch back to PANEL mode to receive the preset. I was doing it like an OS update. So, all I needed to do was go back to PANEL mode...Doh! It stinks when...

Re: Post Subject

LWG, So I got the Thunder patch ready for a sysex dump to the Voyager. I set the Voyager to "Receive Presets" with sysex enabled and no dice. Does this mean I have to have the Editor program on my computer to load a single preset onto the Voyager? If so I'm in trouble because I run Mac OS...
