Re: Minimoog MacOs App "Free to all current Model D iOS App owners"?
OK this is now solved. Here's what I had from a user on another forum - and this worked for me... I went through the process earlier. Although it appears that you need to pay, you don't. Click on the button. It will then ask to to confirm that you want to purchase. Click and proceed. Finally, a dial...

Re: Minimoog MacOs App "Free to all current Model D iOS App owners"?
Same problem here - it wants to charge me £21.99 in UK money. I have the app open now on my iPhone.
Will leave it a day or two and try again.

Sub 37 Editor with MacOS Monterey?
Anyone? I'm still on Big Sur, and don't intend to upgrade for a while, but just wondering if there is anything I should be aware of from anyone who has upgraded from Big Sur?
Also applies to the Sirin editor.
I wish Moog would state supported OS versions on the web site and keep it updated.

Re: Sub 37 Editor and macOS Big Sur compatibility issues
Just to add here, I now have the Sub 37 & Sirin editors both installed on Big Sur without any noticeable problems. What I would say is that these were installed after a clean install of Big Sur, not done via an upgrade. The only time I've had a major problem with the Sub 37 editor was when I up...

Re: Sub 37 Editor and macOS Big Sur compatibility issues
Is this still an issue? I am about to go from Catalina to Big Sur as a clean install.
We are on the verge of Monterey being released so I would have expected Big Sur compatibility to not be an issue by now!

Re: subsequent 25 editor vs subsequent 25 editor-VI
The VI one is an Instrument plugin, so you would use that on a MIDI track, the other one is like an Effect plugin, which you can therefore use on an audio track. Actually the above is what it says in the S37 Editor manual, but the only way I've ever got it to work how I want (in Logic or Ableton) is...

Re: Subsequent 37 patches switching to "edited" on display immediately on selection
My guess is that a potentiometer is sending twitchy values. The easiest way to prove this would be with MIDI Monitor (free Mac app) or whatever free MIDI monitoring app you can find for PC. If I'm right, you'll see an endless stream of a particular CC# or NRPN. Sorry no response for a while, I have...

Subsequent 37 patches switching to "edited" on display immediately on selection
As described in the title. Whenever I switch to a hardware preset on my Subsequent 37 the asterisks immediately appear in the display indicating that the patch has been edited, when I know it has not. I have reset all my Global settings to factory default and still this happens. Is this a known issu...

What is Subsequent 37 Bank 1 Preset 4?
As the title says. I've accidentally saved over Bank 1 Preset 4 in the hardware, whilst trying to save a User patch, by clicking Save in the Librarian instead of Save As... I know I have the factory presets on my hard drive but I need to know which one is Bank 1 Preset 4, in Finder they are only lis...

Re: Syncing DFAM to Logic Pro
Reviving this old post just to add that I can indeed confirm that the method I linked to in the YouTube video in the post above, which is for Ableton Live, does work with Logic. I replicated the method using the ES1 instead of Ableton's Analog and the EXS24 instead of Simpler, and it works. Have sav...

Re: Sub 37: Editor Librarian not connecting to hardware
Bryan, I estimate this as being a setup/installation related. I'll contact you shortly with detailed steps as for how to troubleshoot this, Gil Gil I wonder, could you send the detailed steps to myself, as I am having this exact same problem on my Mac Mini after upgrading the OS from High Sierra to...

Re: DFAM and Korg SQ1
Just checked and no, it's just a pulse output. So SQ1 it probably is then.Acid Mitch wrote:If the Volca sends cv and gate then the answer is yes.

Re: DFAM and Korg SQ1
You don’t have to trick the dfam. You can bypass it’s internal sequencer and sequence it from any other sequencer that sends cv/ gate. That way sequences can be as long or short as you like. Excellent! I actually already have a Korg Volca Keys so assume I could do it with that? Only just got my DFA...

Re: DFAM and Korg SQ1
Just to clarify... is there a way the SQ1 can be used to "trick" the DFAM into playing sequences shorter than 8 steps, i.e. playing say step 1 - 5 then restarting at step 1?
