minimoog faceplates anyone?

I have a 74' minimoog, and it has a common cosmetic problem. The faceplate seems to have bubbled up in a few spots. It's not that big of a deal...but has grown to irritate me over the years. Anyone know of replacement faceplates anywhere for sale? Or better yet, a quick fix?

i've got an old yamaha electone organ sitting around, and on the 'solo' keyboard it has an amazing vibrato function where the player can wobble the entire keybed itself back and forth a couple of millimeters, creating a vibrato effect. If moog could release a synth with this function and then you co...

had to bring this up: my "one" deal of my life was a Mono/Poly and a Polysix pre-battery change with flight cases for $75 each. Both were perfect cosmetically, and now both are working perfectly after replacing the dreaded klm-367 board on the p-6. total cost: $250. sorry-- i felt the need...

You could buy a DVCO from Modusonics (moogce.com) and use that with your micro. I'm not really sure if it would work, but I can't see why it wouldn't. A micro with three oscillators would be one nasty synth.

I guess they are pretty much real, because they use pretty much the exact same electronics. What I mean is they are not made by Moog Music, although they are basically the same thing, even cosmetically.

I let my moog go for a while, and then came back to it and tuned it again. It seems to be working now, but if anyone knows what happened please reply.

Tuning Issues

I turned on my model D today, and decided I needed to tune it. When I got to oscillator three, it would not get the right pitch. The pitch of ocs 3 does not go low enough to be in tune with the other oscillators. Has anyone experienced this problem and can anyone help me?

I posted this on the fooger page, i'll post it here too. It's a moogerfooger system, everything in one box! I wish I could contact the person who made this! It is basically what you were talking about, bunnyman.

DVCO

"It would be 4 oscillators with variable waveforms that would be controled by the Voyager"--sir_dss I read this on another post somewhere on this forum, then did some research on it. Moog used to make something called the DVCO. It was a rack mountable case carrying two oscillators to expan...

at moogce.com, they don't make real moog modules, although they do have a large inventory of real ones. they make replicas of the originals, and custom modules to fit the customer's needs. by far the best place to fufill your modular needs, although i've never actually bought something from them

Qwave, you are right, and I guess I just wasn't thinking when I posted that. I would also buy a modular if I could afford one. Also, I'm also all for an ms20 type synth. I think that would go over well.
