Thanks, I've used it in the past to debug my pedalboard messages... will have to fire up again and see what's happening I suppose.
Funny that my Juno 106, whose midi implementation is decades older, doesn't seem to have any of these issues lol.

Re: Slim Phatty MIDI issues
well looks like midi clock is not enabled anyway...see the attached pic
Any other ideas?
(I do have a support ticket open with moog, but I'm not sure if they still field support for the SP...)

Re: Slim Phatty MIDI issues
Ok, thanks! Forgot to mention that it also is able play that single note via that 'enter = play note' option in the menu, so it's not the analog bits that are going out to lunch. I'm using via USB rather than DIN, but can switch it up. (running from my mac in protools and live, not actually performi...

Slim Phatty MIDI issues
Hi all - I have an SP that seems to have issues receiving midi messages. After a few minutes, it just stops outputting sound, after having worked just fine a minute previous. (In this state, I can't overwrite a preset by playing a sysex file either.) Cycling power seems to reset its brain, and all i...

Re: writing 14 bit filter data
Bueller? lol
So far I'm just using the MSB, but I wonder if it might be smoother using both... I just cant quite wrap my head around how to do that.

writing 14 bit filter data
Hey all, I'm trying to figure out how to write 14 bit MIDI data to automate filter sweeps in my SP.
Easy enough to write automation for CC51 or CC19 only, but has anyone got it set up to do both?
I'm in protools, but maybe the method would be applicable from other DAWs?
Thanks!

Re: Jumpy Filter sweeps on SP
K, set up the SP so that it does not send midi out data, and I'm still getting the jumps in the filter. They are subtle, but they are definitely there. Seems if i move the filter now more slowly the jumps are less frequent, but not altogether gone. I've tried receiving MIDI in both from a USB cable ...

Re: Jumpy Filter sweeps on SP
Hi guys sorry for the slow reply here. new dad, blah blah, synths are secondaty to my gutiar playing, yada yada. Played around with the SP and ended up recording those tracks using the filter sweep through the footwitch so i dodged the issue. have a little time in the next few days so i'll take a cl...

Jumpy Filter sweeps on SP
Hey guys, Im a new owner of a (used) Slim Phatty - love the sounds in that thing, and presets are a good starting place for synth noob like me. The other day I was using the SP to record audio out, running from MIDI over USB from protools. Manually running the filter with my hand as the song records...
