Re: Minitaur LFO sync to Ableton

via USB... there isn't really any point using DIN since the ports are shared between Ableton and minitaur editor. Hi, I use both Din and USB of the minitaur because my keyboard (Kawai MP6), doesn’t act as a midi usb regular midi keyboard so I have to send midi from din ports through a Motu Express ...

Re: Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem

Ok, so it works with the mother plugged to the attenuator of the CP251 and sent to the minitaur but still not at the same octave, anyway I do it differently by sending sending midi notes from my midi keyboard to a Motu Express and send both to minitaur and Mother, and then launch a midi clip from Ab...

Re: Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem

ok I have a CP 251, I’ll plug the m32 main out to the attenuator of CP 251 and send it to Minitaur Pitch in, and will report soon if it works

In the mean time it would be great to have some kind of tutorial about how to use the calibration on the stand alone usb interface of the Minitaur !

cheers

Like the atenuator of the CP251 ?

Re: Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem

In the mean, time, you can use MIDI to hook them up and that should work. Hi, yes it works fine this way of course with a multiple midi I/o device, but I want to use the midi in of the m32 to receive midi clock from my other synth which is a Dave Smith Evolver :) And I want to avoid using any DAW i...

Re: Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem

I couldn't make it work, either. Nor with the Model D. However, it was way better (not perfect) when the Mother-32 was set as slave (using the 1V/Oct) using the Model D's CV outs I understand there is something related to the scale. Will keep researching during the next weeks. You should take into ...

Re: Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem

I guess it comes from the difference of voltage range between -5+5v for mother 32 and 0+5v for minitaur : is there a way to fix this so as to have the minitaur play the same note as the m32 ?

Re: Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem

I'll try to do my best to test them tomorrow at our workshop, but I can't promise you anything. If I can't, I will during the week. Please do a bump here if I don't Ok thanks So to be more precise : when I press a C1 on my midi keyboard it played a C1 on the mother 32, but something like a C-2 on t...

Re: Minitaur LFO sync to Ableton

Hi the way I used to sync minitaur with Ableton I used both usb and midi cable : one for midi notes (via a midi keyboard) and one for the LFO sync

make sure that in the settings of ableton : MIDI sync enabled for Minitaur output

hope that helps

Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem

Hi, I've purchased a mother 32 lately and try to patch it to my minitaur, so far what i did is quite obvious : KB out > Pitch in (minitaur) Gate out > gate in (minitaur) Audio out > audio in (minitaur) My problem is that the Minitaur pitch is too far low, like 2 or 3 octaves below compared with the ...
