Re: retriggering LFO/start phase???
I’m replying to old thread because I just did it. 98B81942-DC60-4953-A580-6FFB58904C9D.jpeg Probably there are better ways to do it but this is what I did. In order to reset LFO, you need to reset C50 and state of Schmitt trigger. Schematic is simple but you may need to remove one side of R71 (I jus...

Lazy LPF / HPF switch mod
Hi, I have been used Werkstatt without much mod, but recently I did LPF / HPF switch mod. I cut jumper between VCF and VCA and insert the simple circuit below. 6D26FF06-7A7A-4F72-A481-5C61E2D93E23.jpeg This turns VCF as LPF(by default) or HPF. This has some DC in output and it’s not perfect, but bas...

Re: Hack to safely disable VCO to allow Audio IN to be clean
Hi,
It should be easy. Just cut JMP57 and you will get silent. It’s a connection point between VCO and VCF.

Re: External signal processor module to control Werkstatt
It's off topic, but I noticed following things during my experiment. 1. Gate out / in can be used as VCO gain control like VCA IN but still attack and decay works. By changing Gate In continuously, I could make full futures ADSR envelope curve. 2. Maybe someone mentioned this in this forum in the pa...

Re: External signal processor module to control Werkstatt
Hi, Thanks for the reply. First of all, I made a new version of the demo (using STM32 Nucleo) https://youtu.be/q4lkqDtS9sM Please check it! Unfortunately the input signal have to be simple enough to track. Like you said, initially I planned to accept wider range of signals (mainly for guitar) but tr...

External signal processor module to control Werkstatt
Hi, I made an Extenal Signal Processor module by using Arduino or STM32 microprocessor board + some extra circuit, in order to control Werkstatt by other synthesizers. By using ESP, you can use most of synthesizers as controller of Werkstatt. ESP analyzes pitch of the sound and convert it to CV/Gate...
