Re: Uh oh, M32 shuts down when tempo controlled from DFAM
Think we figured this one out...the Mother LOOKS like it's ready to accept a MIDI instruction, but it's really waiting for the next clock impulse. Shutting off the sequencer ON THE MOTHER is likely to fix the problem. It looks like the sequencer is off, but it's actually just paused when I stop the ...

Uh oh, M32 shuts down when tempo controlled from DFAM
I noticed this during a live performance recently, and I've recreated it in the lab several times: 1) Control tempo of sequencer from DFAM to M32 2) Play synced sequence 3) Stop sequence 4) Mother can no longer play sounds, MIDI LED blinks with input, but no sound is emitted until Mother is rebooted...

Re: 4 tier?
awesome, thanks, I should have known I wasn't the first with this problem (nice problem to have!)
EDIT: Unfortunately the pics are no longer available for that post, and without them the instructions are too cryptic for my limited knowledge. Therefore I'm still looking for an answer.

4 tier?
Well, I bought 3 Mother-32's a few months back and thought that'd be all I'd ever need...then the addiction started kicking in HARD and I sprung for the Engineering class at Moogfest this year. Well, the DFAM (which I love, by the way) is the same size as the Mother-32, so what I really need is a 4 ...

DFAM Demo
This is a periscope video I captured during the 2017 Moogfest Engineering class. http://www.doctorsteve.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/MoogFest-DFAM-Multi-sync.mp4 The audio is terrible and the video is low res, but it'll give you an idea of what went down when we finished our rigs, until the high q...

Re: Pitch Bend modification?
Just for giggles, type mother-32 pitch bend into the Search window of this forum. Couldn't hurt...;-) Done that, of course, and the reason I look like a lazy dope is because my question wasn't complete. Let me rephrase it: "USING ONLY AN M-AUDIO KEYSTATION 88es, is there a way to send the code...

Pitch Bend modification?
The manual states MIDI pitch bend amount can be set from 0 to 12 semitones using "MIDI pitch bend depth RPN."
Anyone know how this works?
