Re: Matriarch Midi-to-CV to possible?

This is one of those things that defy logical explanation for me if there's no fix for it or they won't make a fix for it. It's massively limiting for anyone who uses a DAW and a Eurorack, as we're talking about, or other situations. I'm feeling a bit pissy about it, but it's in part because it's a ...

Re: New Matriarch owner with an unusual request.

What I mean is that whatever note I'm playing, it's lower than other synths by around 5 dB starting at around 70 hz. But there are other considerations that I've been finding out about from other forums that are at play, so I don't think there's really an issue when it comes down to it. One thing th...

Re: Matriarch Midi-to-CV to possible?

Does what you're saying here mean that I won't be able to patch the CV MIDI outputs from the Matriarch into my Eurorack and get any signal? Or that MIDI coming into the Matriarch doesn't get passed through to the CV MIDI outputs? Either would be a major issue for me, and I'd need to sell the synth i...

Matriarch: Clicks when LFOs are used on PWM of a Pulse wave or LIN FM.

In the Matriarch I'm often hearing a very quick single or sometimes double click from the LFOs when they get to certain points on any waveform they're set to (the on/off point, it seems) except sine, when they're modulating the PWM of a Pulse or Square wave or LIN FM. Other analog synths I've used/t...

Re: New Matriarch owner with an unusual request.

I would image that is in part how it is designed as a 4-voice synth. If all the voices are too fat on the low end it can get muddy very quickly if you are playing paraphonically. That said you can easily make the low end more fat by putting it in duo- or mono- phonic mode and then very slightly det...

New Matriarch owner with an unusual request.

Hi all, very excited about my new (used in mint condition, just over a year old) Matriarch, which I'm also incorporating with my modular setup. Upon using it for the first time I noticed that the sub low end was not quite as "fat" as I was expecting. I compared a raw saw wave (the wave dir...

Re: Matriarch Midi-to-CV to possible?

I just spoke to a tech at Moog and he said that he is not expecting a fix for the MIDI-to-CV issue unfortunately, and that many people have requested it. He also said that it wasn't something that was working in older firmware versions, either. Weird! Maybe he misunderstood what I meant -- I'm a bit...

Plugged wrong power supply into MF-101 -- repair question!

Hi all! Longtime Moogerfooger enthusiast here, and I did an incredibly dumb thing by accidentally plugging a higher-powered power supply into my beloved MF-101 LPF pedal. Now all that happens when I plug in the proper power supply is that the red envelope light stays lit and there's no sound to spea...
