Re: Issues with Moog Sub 37 editor
The VST plugin is only the editor. There is no "software synth" Moog Sub 37. Why would you want that, if you have already got the real deal

Re: Issues with Moog Sub 37 editor
Are you sure the editor sees the Sub 37? You can check on the 'Setup' page -> 'Editor settings' whether the right MIDI input & output have been selected. If you have both USB and DIN midi connected, the editor may be confused as to which one to use. Another thing to check is under ' MIDI setting...

That will be when they rename this forum to "Subsequent, Sub 37 & Sub Phatty Forum" ...aux.tech wrote:Me too. And it would be great to hear from people that buy the Subsequent and already have the Sub 37.

Re: Limited edition Subsequent 37 CV announced
Interesting to see Moog is coming up with new stuff.
I love my Sub 37 so no change there. Would be very interested to see if the CV and Gate outs become a retrofit kit on the Sub 37.

Re: issue with an used sub37
One other thing you could try is to set the pattern to 'Rec' to start recording a sequence, and then pressing a key to clear the sequence. When you switch back to one of the Arp patterns, you should hear the pattern play as expected. This is some strange behaviour that my Sub 37 also had, but someon...

Re: Connecting the Sub 37 to Logic Pro x to use the moog's s
Are you able to record other sources from your audio interface in Logic? Or have you checked that your audio interface works correctly with Logic, by playing back some audio? I do not know or own any UA products, so can't be of much help there. But guessing from the info on the UA site, setting this...

Re: Midi clock start
Hi VC, The Sub 37 will only play anything if you either press a key, or send notes (note-on/off messages) through MIDI. The sequencer may be running (I don't know for sure though) but unless its receiving a note-on or a keyboard gate, it will not generate any sound. I don't know studio one, but you ...

Re: New User Problems with Logic Pro X Help!!! ....
The Midi sync for arps and seq seems random despite the Editor saying its set to MIDI. Is there an additional trick to ensure it takes the DAWS clock? You have to make sure Logic is sending MID clock to the Sub 37. You can set this up in the Project Settings menu, under 'Synchronization ...'. and m...

Re: New User Problems with Logic Pro X Help!!! ....
You have to set up a Software instrument track in Logic that uses the External instrument plugin, and then set up the External instrument MIDI port and channel to your Sub 37, and the returning Audio c port for the audio. When you select the track in logic, with Local off on your Sub 37, playing the...

Re: Sub 37 LFO sync issues and non-responsive panel
This sounds like a MIDI loop, which happens when your Sub 37 sends MIDI data to your DAW, and your DAW sends this back to all your MIDI devices. The usual setup when using a DAW with an external keyboard synth like the Sub 37 is to set the synth to something called "Local off". In the Sub ...

Have you tried the Sync button in the Arp section of the Sub 37? Page 15 of the manual.

Re: Major problem USB MIDI from DAW with Sub37 hangs/disconn
Back again. I had several issues. - Bad USB hub, random issues. - Turned off Follow SPP etc. Now it seems to work fine. :) Now though, I have a problem setting Sub37 Editor up in Cubase. I have done these things before with other hardware synths but I get "No connection" here. In the 'Set...

Re: Sub 37 rumors/new features wishlist
I just love the editor, especially the way it makes life easy when working on a sound, giving me the ability to quickly store different versions of a patch. (Yeah, I'm nervous storing patches in the Sub 37 memory, alway worry that I accidentally overwrite some other awesome patch that I put a lot of...
