moogerfooger name origins

Anyone know the true origins of this name? Moogerfooger. Sure, it rhymes. But should be interesting to know this model name came about. I'm guessing it wasn't the product of a joke..... like mother f*****r etc. Anyway, since Moog is such a huge name in synthesiser history..... had to finally get a M...

My speculation guess is that the power supply is broken only. It is a guess only though. The MF-102 requires +9 Volt DC. I would just proceed to hop down to an electronic store (eg. Jaycar), and buy another power supply....... get a 240 Volt AC to +9 Volt DC power adapter. The power supply will need...
