Re: Moog Little Phatty SEII midi over USB to TE OP-1

right. I guess I already expected this so wanted to check. Well then, I will try to use my iPad as the midi host, connected to a usb hub, running an app that can route midi. the thing is though that my ipad (with an M1 processor) does not recognize my moog. I thougth the usb midi board was broken, b...

Moog Little Phatty SEII midi over USB to TE OP-1

Hey there, Before I start ordering cables I thought I'd ask the following question here. I would like to connect 3 machines via midi, a Moog Little Phatty SE II (on 3.21 sw), An Elektron Octatrack (OT) and a Teenage Engineering OP-1. Now the OT and the LP have din ports, so far so good. the OP-1 sen...

Re: Arpeggiator sync in live band situation

in the arpeggiator settings you find the option Sync Lock. if on, the arp will stay in the same pattern as the first note pressed, when off the arp will start on each new key press

Re: sync drift Little Phatty Ableton Live

Found something else too... global quantization was off in the ableton project. So when the next scene was selected the arp set to the right speed but not the right phase.... feel like a beginner. Now the sync works much better...

Re: sync drift Little Phatty Ableton Live

I found a solution. I will be playing the songs with an arpeggiator via Ableton. Local control off, using the ableton arpeggiator. Not the most charming way to work but it does the trick. And I will be looking for another backing track host like Mainstage.

sync drift Little Phatty Ableton Live

Hi, I am using my Phatty in a band where we have the backing tracks and some vst instruments running in Ableton LIve. In one song I play an arpeggiated bass line (in latch mode as I need to tweak and twist buttons). The arpeggiator is set to midi sync, and the sync button in Ableton is checked for t...

Re: Arpeggiator Clock Problem

That's right, mine is connected like that. I had some drifting problems, too, but I think it has to do with the USB cable. I have 2 5 meter USB cables, one from Procab and one cheap grey one. The procab cable seems to perform far worse than the cheap one...

Re: Using a midi keyboard with Little Phatty editor

are you connecting to the corresponding ports on the interface (i.e. interface to phatty port A, keyboard to interface also on port A)?

I don't know what you mean by using the LP editor for playing, I would expect you use that for programming sounds etc, nog for playing?

Re: Little Phatty II won't go into Bootloader mode

the bootloader is not available in 2.x. You will first have to update to 3.0. You load the bootloader with a sysex tool like Sysexlibrarian http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian. Then you will be able to load OS 3. In OS3 there is a bootloader so you can use that to update to the latest version. On t...

Re: Sub 37 and Ableton

yup, that sounds like a program message. open the clip and look for the 3 fields under 'PGM Change'. If something is filled out there and the clip loops then Ableton will set your synth to that program. 2 solutions: 1. empty the 3 fields under 'pgm change' This will cause the synth to stay in whatev...

Re: LFO sync setting per patch

ok, so I won't look further. next question pops up in my head: would it be possible to control that setting (LFO sync source) with a MIDI control message?

LFO sync setting per patch

Hi there, I am stoked with the opportunity to both globally and 'locally', per patch, being able to adjust arpeggiator settings. As far as I know this can not be done for the LFO sync: I can sync the LFO to external midi globally but then this applies to every selected patch. Or am I overlooking a s...
