Re: Very strange midi clock problem on Sub 37
Was the sync engaged before the clock was started? I understand that the Sub 37 wants to see the start MIDI message to work properly. Sorry I can't explain better. I primarily play my synths standalone.

Re: load SUB37 preset when loading Logic Project
I'm thinking a MIDI program change at the beginning of the song is exactly what you're asking about. I've not sequenced with my Sub yet - but that's what I do with my other synthesizers and other MIDI devices.

Re: New on modulation.. Please help me!
Hello Liselotte,
You won't break things by modulating any source to any destination. Worst case, you might get some ugly distortion (which can be good at times). Also, the modulation source and destination is saved per patch. So selecting another patch or initializing a new patch will reset things.

Mystery now solved!!

I wonder if some retailers were substituting this for out stock 37s or 37 CVs.

Re: Sub 37-Subsequent 37-Subsequent 37 CV
I am under the impression the Subsequent 37 CV was a limited edition. I wonder if this is the standard edition that replaces it. I also wonder what folks are trying to order when they get this instead. If this doesn't have CV outs, I'd hope it come at a lower price point than the ones with CV. Certa...

If that doesn't work, try a factory settings initialization. That seems to solve a lot of strange problems.

The first few posts had it. Roland KC-550. Big, heavy, loud, and rich in low end.

Re: issue with an used sub37
Welcome!!
The problem you describe sounds like a bad selector switch to me. But I would definitely reset to initial settings Before sending it off for repair. (Global -> Init settings) That seems to solve a lot of weird problems with the 37.

Re: EP-3 Expression Pedal
I find my Sub-37/EP-3 behavior to be opposite. In full heel position, it does not modify my cutoff frequency. In full toe, it increases the frequency considerably. I am using default settings on the Sub.

Re: Production halting on Voyager XL
I'd love to have an XL but the price is too much for me at this time. I selfishly hope they remain available for a while so I can grab one new.
Definitely looking forward to whatever is coming next. Keep it going, Moog!

Re: No sound when "Panel" mode is engaged (Sub 37)
My SUb 37 did this when I got it. A factory reset (init settings from menu) resolved the problem.

Re: Dustcover / decksaver - do you really need it?
Depending on the particulate in your environment, the dust that may settle into your instrument may be conductive or flammable. Will you notice a problem right away? No. Ten years later? Probably not. But it really depends on the environment. In general, dust isn't good for electronics. If you don't...

Re: Sub 37 sounds on its own?
Interesting point about the OSCs being at extreme values at startup. It's probably a sub-audible note causing the clicks. I didn't even think about that but it makes perfect sense given that the OSCs do run constantly when switched on.

Re: Sub 37 sounds on its own?
There is a weird glitchy sound to that patch at startup. It's speed is directly influenced by the arpeggiator's speed. Seems like a bug to me.
Also, if you're playing the keyboard faster than the arpeggiator's interval, some notes will get skipped. So I feel like that symptom is normal.
