I replaced the chips with the FlatKeys items. And the problem of that note isn't fixed. The rest of the synth seems to work just fine, and frankly sounds a lot better than it did. But in organ mode (following the set up in the user's manual) that lowest note is still an octave off. Any further hints...

Sorry, a follow up question. I see quite a few references to replacements for the MM5823N int eh MG-1. Is this the same as the MM5832, or a typo? Thanks in advance for your help.

One key on MG-1 plays wrong octave in some settings
I recently bought a Realistic MG-1 at an estate sale and have been enjoying playing around with it. I removed the tar/foam and fixed a loose connection on an RCA jack. But I have one mysterious problem. The low F wasn't working. I removed the key to inspect and put it back in and it started to work....
