5823 is the divider chip. There are three in the MG-1. I just replaced all three in my unit yesterday using the FlatKeys replacement chips and they seem to work wonderfully.

Yep, thank you. I opened the synth up and followed the traces. It does indeed appear to be a problem with two frequency dividers. Have people been having good luck with the replacement dividers from FlatKeys? They appear to have been providing that product for several years now, which is good. I wou...

Hello friends! New user here. I just joined to Moog fellowship by purchasing an MG-1 at the thrift store.
