Re: Pot mapping

1.) Map decay control to release. This models the Minimoog D's mode of having decay rate govern release time. Src: EG Decay (Env/Amp) Dest: EG Release (Env/Amp) Dir: Normal Amt: 100% 2.) To compensate for filter passband attenuation, resonance control can be mapped to external input, with filter fee...

Re: Newb Voyager Programming Question

I'm stumped by some of Voyager's presets (e.g., A53 - Kick in the Sub, E56 - Stereo Zaps) . If you turn all the oscillators off (or on) , it has no effect on the timbre. Same with pretty much all front panel controls except the Filters and Envelopes sections. I've tweaked every control and perused ...

Re: Sample and Hold, again

Hello, The effect requires the trigger input for the sample and hold to be the keyboard gate, as latigid on has pointed out. If you're using a Voyager RME, you will need a VX-352 to break out the keyboard gate. Further, if you just use the unmodified signal to trigger the Voyager's filter cv input, ...

Re: octave transpose / potentiometer durability question

Hello! Global octave transposition is done simply by pressing the edit button twice and using the up and down cursor keys to jump octaves. If you must use the rotary octave switch to jump octaves for more than one oscillator, you could pot map the octave switch from oscillator 1 to octave function f...

Re: Feature Request !

I want to use the OSC3 more like a 2nd dedicated LFO. So,what´s needed is just two more destinations on both modulation busses. # Pitch for both OSC1 and OSC2 # Wave for both OSC1 and OSC2 With this routing it is possible to use Wave modulation (PWM ) on OSC 1 and OSC 2 and still keep the triangle ...

Hello,

You can get a copy of the manual from here:

http://www.markglinsky.com/ManualManor.html

The original manuals for these machines had some
sample patch settings.

Re: synth on "all my love" Zeppelin?

Hello, The CS-series bear little resemblance the the GX-1. The GX-1 synths that Yamaha built were all a series of prototypes and were never an actual "production" instrument. They used discrete modules and a diode filter. After they were built, the only synthesizers that used any of the GX...
