That is a good question: is any functionality of the RME lacking compared to a regular voyager, other than the physical touchpad?
Or maybe it has more?
There is a lot of MIDI tied into that iirc

Re: Model D reissue, Keyboard tuning error NOT working?
Just to jump in here: I have an early run Reissue (#348) that was in its original factory state; I had never even tried the startup modes because I came from a mid-70’s Model D way back when. Recently purchased and installed the MUSE Board, and in the process had to update the Firmware to 1.8 to ma...

Fluffy Fart Bag. New Moog product, it's a real gas!
Thanks, sorry too lazy to type it out & assumed it was common shortform.
Although a fixed filter bank is variable: you just need to manually turn the knobs. Which is all fine & good, if you're an octopus!
CV is the ideal way though

Re: Voyager XL Ribbon problem
Hey how did you make out? I found what I'd confused as the ribbon menu options, earlier: the touch screen does give you options for keeping the XY values after the gate is released. One is T.S. global, the other is T.S mod bus. Not exactly sure what the difference is though. I have to experiment. I'...

I'm curious about this whole Labyrinth thing. A fully voltage controlled FFB?
I've been pining for that ever since I got a FFB

Voyager saw wave dial, error
Was talking to some other Voyager owners & apparently this isn't common knowledge. Anyone who owns a Voyager needs to watch this video: Tim Shoebridge investigates some things; most importantly the SAW wave indicator on the waveform dials is off. *edit* oops I'd earlier posted the wrong video li...

Re: Grandmother crackling pots + support issues
I don't know the specs on them, but I'd source the best quality replacements I could find. Will last much longer than stock. Digikey or Mouser both have a large selection.

Re: Voyager XL Ribbon problem
Oh!
I have no idea how you'd get that out then, I don't think I looked under the ribbon ctlr when I had mine open.
Ps if you can post the calibration procedure, that would be useful for other owners to know about
Good luck

Re: Voyager XL Ribbon problem
You mean you can't get the back panel on the XL open? If so, I ran into the same thing: the side of the PCB jams inside the case & won't let you pull it out. Try turning it the other way so gravity pulls the PCB away from the edge of the case. That worked for me. Be careful, you don't want to be...

That's wild. I remember watching a youtube vid where the guy won one of those! It was awesome.
Outta my price range, but I'm sure somebody out there will buy it. Good luck!
