Re: Moog font "O"
No I don't think so. With all due respect, I do not see semiquaver beams or flags. Primarily because it is described as being a note, not the beams of a note. I think it is either a stylized Minim (half note) or, if not the minim, perhaps a Long. Here is a visual list of symbols for reference: https...

Re: Pelican or ATA case for Sub 37
hmm, you sure everything else checks out? what about the weight? NARAS lobbied to get a bill passed years ago with the FAA mandating instruments be allowed as carry-on baggage, so the dimensions should not be an issue (it's certainly shorter than my guitar). But the weight could prevent from going i...

Re: Voyager volume/decay spontaneously changes
Yep that's the one.
I bought my voyager used. Serial number is part of that recall. I have not had any issues yet, though. Have been debating about sending it in for repair, or riding it out to see if something happens.
Let me know what you decide to do with yours, and how it goes?

Re: Voyager Oscilator Chord Tuning Questions
So I was correct in thinking we are discussing the adjustable pitch knobs?
or are we tuning the fundamental "center" pitch of each osc somehow? or both?
I'm just not sure what we are "tuning" as there is also the global pitch tuning.

Re: What happened to OS 3.6
I just want to say for the record, every time I have visited the factory in Asheville I've been impressed by the staff. And I have the utmost confidence that Greg and Rudi know what they're doing. But since the warranty period is expired, and I'm not having any issues *yet* I just don't see the adva...

Re: Moog Minimoog Voyager Complete Instructional DVD
Thanks but the entire playlist is still on YouTube. I'm OK relying on the cloud for this one.

Re: Voyager Master Volume Doesn't Go To Zero
Thankful someone finally explained this!
Not sure what was wrong with the OP's volume, but I'm glad there's nothing funky with mine. Like I said, doesn't bother me one bit.
cheers

Awesome. I have a rack version of an Aural Exciter, will try it. Maybe post an A/B video if I can find the time.

Re: Pelican or ATA case for Sub 37
If you are on a budget, you can purchase plywood and ATA latch hardware and build your own case ... I've never done this but I've considered it many times. I have only owned a few ATA cases and never flown with any of them. I have traveled quite extensively, but I always rent the heavy gear from the...

Re: Mother + Mother = Bach
Well done Really like how you paired the synth notes (for lack of better word) with the Bach sections. Great transitions. Ending was perfect.

Re: Inserting a guitar effect pedal
So thrilled to read this. I was wondering the same thing when I looked in the manual and read about the FX send/return jacks. Related question, has anyone tried plugging a Mother-32 into that FX loop? This could essentially turn the Voyager into a sequencer. Problems with impedance or voltage? Of co...

Re: Voyager Oscilator Chord Tuning Questions
... how do people know what note to dial in with OSC 2 & 3 in terms of the value? ... is this possible to do on the fly? At the risk of sounding like a jerk ... I just use my ears (dialing on the fly). Each oscillator 2 + 3 has a big tuning wheel at the top. When I hold a note of osc.1, I turn ...

Re: Speakers for Model D
You asked about a good 12" or 15" speaker, and all I'm trying to say is that you need a bigger speaker to achieve your stated goals. I am not an expert in speaker cabinets or amps, but here's what I know: - larger speakers reproduce better bass than smaller speakers (which is why you shoul...

Re: Voyager Master Volume Doesn't Go To Zero
Curious if anyone has an update from their calibration efforts. I bought a very gently used Voyager Select. I have not noticed any issues yet, after two days of experimenting, except ... I always turn my volume knobs down before/after every session. When I have the master volume all the way down, an...

Re: Goosneck replacement bulb
I noticed that bulb brand also sells gooseneck lamps. Has anyone used a non-Møog-brand lamp with their Voyager? I figure any lamp which takes a 12V power source should work, but maybe the connector is a proprietary diameter ... I dunno. Hence my query. The price for the official Voyager accessory la...
