Re: 1.6 update ?

It's the first question I ask about a polysynth, and is the reason I have held off for what, 5 years now on getting a Moog One? The fact that it took over 2 years for 1.5 to come out as well as the recent business developments puts the One into the category of "what might have been..." The...

Re: Minimoog MacOs App "Free to all current Model D iOS App owners"?

After some initial frustration, I was able to download and run the MacOS app. I don't think I didi anything, it just became available as a download on the App Store.

Re: YES !

As far as I can tell, still no MIDI response to polyphonic aftertouch. Certainly the current updates are very important, but I hope it isn't another two years until 1.6...

Re: Ready to buy: waiting for new firmware?

I have been ready to buy a Moog One since it was announced, but will continue to hold off until they update the firmware. I see both the frustrations and the joy of the current owners, but coming up on two years since any update at all?

Re: Model D reissue, Keyboard tuning error NOT working?

Just to jump in here: I have an early run Reissue (#348) that was in its original factory state; I had never even tried the startup modes because I came from a mid-70’s Model D way back when. Recently purchased and installed the MUSE Board, and in the process had to update the Firmware to 1.8 to mak...

Re: Minitaur no sound

I had a similar issue with my Minitaur- I hadn't used it for awhile, and while adding a new synth today I also reconnected the Minitaur. I saw the MIDI LED flashing, and with the editor (Mac OS) I saw knobs turning, but no sound- either thru the output or the headphone jack. I disconnected power and...

Re: Reissue waveform loudness

Yeah, I thought so- I must have been either going senile, or haven't used the triangle/sharktooth waveforms much lately!

Reissue waveform loudness

For some reason, I am just now noticing that the triangle and sharktooth waveforms are significantly quieter than saw/square/pulse. I know they have less harmonic content/higher harmonics, but I am finding I have to turn up the volume somewhat to get a patch as loud as the others. For example, if I ...

"MIDI?" As in it doesn't have it? Or something more specific, like "full MIDI implementation?"

Re: Moog One Answers

If you know that, and you know anything about Geert, you will be confident that Poly Aftertouch and MPE will be implemented, and that they will be implemented with great care. Dan, Thanks for the reply! I just have had a couple of bad (re: expensive) experiences regarding analog polysynths I purcha...

Re: Moog One Answers

Dan, could you possibly please nudge Moog about PolyAT response over MIDI (and MPE, I guess...). A bit more important to some of us than a light show.

Thanks!
