Re: Reissue waveform loudness

Yeah, I thought so- I must have been either going senile, or haven't used the triangle/sharktooth waveforms much lately!

Reissue waveform loudness

For some reason, I am just now noticing that the triangle and sharktooth waveforms are significantly quieter than saw/square/pulse. I know they have less harmonic content/higher harmonics, but I am finding I have to turn up the volume somewhat to get a patch as loud as the others. For example, if I ...

"MIDI?" As in it doesn't have it? Or something more specific, like "full MIDI implementation?"

Re: Moog One Answers

If you know that, and you know anything about Geert, you will be confident that Poly Aftertouch and MPE will be implemented, and that they will be implemented with great care. Dan, Thanks for the reply! I just have had a couple of bad (re: expensive) experiences regarding analog polysynths I purcha...

Re: Moog One Answers

Dan, could you possibly please nudge Moog about PolyAT response over MIDI (and MPE, I guess...). A bit more important to some of us than a light show.

Thanks!

Re: Moog One SOURCE Requests

Not to overemphasize the point, but I have multiple MIDI controllers that transmit polyaftertouch, would like to see PolyAT response over MIDI implemented as soon as possible please.

Re: Moog One TRANSFORM Requests

Absolutely +1 on the lag processor- it also works great for smoothing out aftertouch response.

Re: Moog One Answers

Finally, from Amos' videos yesterday, he was answering a question about poly aftertouch. It sounded like he was saying that the One could, in theory, respond to it via MIDI but it's not implemented yet. Is that right? Is it planned for an upcoming firmware release? What about MPE? I found the video...

Re: Custom wood on Minimoog Model D?

I am very happy with my Reissue purchased last year, but would have loved to have had the option of getting the Walnut case. Buy the walnut one, sell the other one? That wouldn't work, because I really would end up keeping both! It is nitpicking, but my original (circa 1975, SN 6450-ish) Minimoog h...

Keith's modular Moog

I was just wondering, and I hope this isn't a macabre or inappropriate question, but whatever happened to Keith's big modular Moog? RIP Emo...

Re: Custom wood on Minimoog Model D?

The new Limited Edition Walnut Moog Minimoog Model D being offered on Sweetwater.com is directly from Moog, not a custom third-party modification. It's a limited run, I just pre-ordered one from Sweetwater and my rep said they will begin shipping in April. He also said they aren't getting that many...
