Thanks.
I've got it running ok now, but the lack of a reset on the DFAM is a real pain.

Re: auto start and re-sync DFAM and M32 to Subh
Thanks. Reset on the DFAM is a pretty big omission eh. I was looking through the v2.0 firmware help and saw that KB+STEP and pressing RUN/STOP will arm the M32 sequencer. I'm not sure how this is different from just pressing RUN. Any ideas? I found an Ehsan Gelsi jam where he seems to be leaving the...

auto start and re-sync DFAM and M32 to Subh
I have a Subharmonicon, M32 and DFAM all clocked and working nicely together except for the start up and times when I want to re-sync the sequences mid-performance. Subh is the master. Is there any way to get the DFAM and M32 to automatically start when I play the Subh? I'm having to start them manu...

Re: sync M32 to DFAM
Patch the TRIGGER out from the DFAM into the TEMPO in of the Mother 32. Set the Tempo Input mode to Mode 3 – Analog Clock (i.e., use Shift + Reset/Accent + Set End + 8, use arrows to go to page 3 of the settings, press 3). Hit Run on the DFAM and Run/Start on the Mother 32. The Mother 32 will be in...

sync M32 to DFAM
Hi
I can only find explanations of syncing the DFAM to M32. How can I use the DFAM clock as a master so I can utilise the new M32 clock divisions in 2.0?
Thanks

Re: strange and distorted headphone output?
In the end I sent my Sub37 to support. They checked it out and couldn't reproduce the problem, so were unable to figure out the cause. But they did clean the headphone jack for me, and so far that seems to have solved it. I don't know exactly how they cleaned it, but it might be worth trying a cotto...

patching with 0 Coast / Erebus
Hi
I just got hold of an 0 Coast to pair with my Mother-32s. I also have an Erebus. This is my first foray into inter-device patching. I was wondering if there was anything I have to be careful about. Or can I just go mental?
Thanks
Mark

Re: envelope sync and the arpeggiator clock
Thanks! Great explanation. I understand now.
My Sub37 is away with headphone jack problems at the moment. I'll try out my new knowledge when it gets back.
Thanks again!

envelope sync and the arpeggiator clock
Hi Can someone explain how Sub37 envelope sync and the arpeggiator clock work together? I'm having trouble setting, for example, AMP EG CLOCK DIV so that the envelope loops once for every arpeggiator clock division. Changing the setting while I have a sound running changes the loop rate, but it seem...

Re: strange and distorted headphone output?
I just used the headphone jack on my Sub37 for the first time in a while, and I'm having similar trouble. I get noise, drops in level, and sometimes loss of signal completely. I've contacted support in Japan to get it seen to.

Re: Mother-32 and Electribe 2
More information. I was using a MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru. I just tested an iConnectivity iConnect MIDI2+ with the same undesirable results. Apparently, both the clock and start/stop events are under the same category of 'realtime events', so you can't filter them separately. http://www.iconnectivi...

Re: Mother-32 and Electribe 2
Thanks.
As far as I can see in the Electribe settings and manual, there isn't an option to do that unfortunately.

Mother-32 and Electribe 2
Hi I'm trying to run a couple of Mothers from an Electribe 2 without success. I have the channels set up, and I can trigger each fine when the Electribe is stopped. But when I try to record, the Mother sequencers start up, and I'm getting no sound output from them. All I'm trying to do is replace th...

Re: side panel colour and cut
Stevie, funny you should say that. My two-tier rack came a couple of days ago and I had trouble lining up the Mothers. If I lined the cheeks up, the horionztal gap between the two machines was uneven - zero on the left but 3 or 4 millimetres on the right. That looked terrible. So I had to adjust it ...
