I put the smaller board in my 50th Anniversary Voyager and it fits fine. I was surprised as you were but all the cables reach and the mounting holes so it’s all great. My Voyager has been working great.

I have exactly this same problem. I read on another post that some were shipped with the wrong IC's. Trying to contact support has been more than frustrating.

I have a problem with Gating. The keyboard does trigger the sound but it never stops. Took 6 weeks to get service to respond although they did initially respond via email after 1 week but just stopped communication. Thank you for this post. It's now 2016 and I got a replacement board only to be horrified that it looks different!
