I would go for the Arturia Drumbrute as well, it's a well laid out analog drum machine with individual outs to put fx on. I had the Prophet 6, and it's a really good synth. If you're not looking to spend too much money, the Prophet 08 is also a very good poly analog synth.

When you install the Sub 37 editor, there are new patches you can save to the Sub 37 so you don't have to have the editor connected.

It's the first place I would check. It's going to see if you have communication via USB from the Sub to your computer, and also see if the editor is working. If they are, you can go to your computer settings and reset your ableton connection, and start a new project to see if it's working.

You may want to connect the Sub via USB to you computer/audio interface directly, and open the editor in stand alone first.

My second one in a year, this is ending up being a $3,200.00 Sub 37..I could have bought a Model d by now but whatever..:/

Went through the same thing, I was told they have a " variance " for the keys, and materials. If you take the tape measure and put it above the keys, they should be level (what I was told). If it bugs you, get another one. I bought my first one last Aug. and a bad volume pot blew my monito...

I use a Minitaur, it works well. The Minitaur is also really good for deep bass duties on its own..needless to say they complement each other very well.

I would run the mini in ch1 and sub37 ch2 (example) into mixer. You have one output from mini running in to ch1 and the other output from the mini into the sub37. Then you can run through either or both filters. I'd like to here what the sub37 sounds like though the mini, just to listen to the 37 os...

The model d has two outputs right?

You can unplug everything, and take all the screws off on that side. There is some room to adjust the wood panel, you're going to take a little care to line everything up..and you may want to slide a plastic knife in between the lip and the LHC so you can pull it up as you tighten the screws.
