Latest Slim Phatty USB MIDI issues
My Slim Phatty shows up in DAWs. But no MIDI shows up at the Slim. All the obvious checked. Routing properly setup. DAW (Ableton) actually sees the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT device of the Slim. MIDI into a track is routed to the "Slim Phatty". All MIDI Channel 1. No MIDI data arrives at the Sli...

Re: Pitch rises upon note strike
Could you use the lfo set to a ramp wave, and turn the pitch knob of whichever lfo used turned to the left? You could also use keyboard reset so every key you press triggers the lfo as well. Awesome! Got that working, now how do I stop it from starting over after it hits the top pitch? I'd like it ...

[Solved] Pitch rises upon note strike?
What I'm trying to do on my Sub 37 : Synth lead patch If the current note is C1, and you hit C3 with a slow glide. That's the effect I'm working on. But, I'm trying to do this with only one note hit. So every note you hit does a 2 octave slide/glide up to the note. Trying to figure out how to apply ...

Re: Sub Phatty <-> Ableton - issues
Works fine here. These are my settings: MIDI Settings. Also, turn on OUTPUT / SYNC if you want to send clock timing for arps & seqs. http://stlcm.com/posted/Sub37-MIDI.png As you can see, there's no audio returned from the Sub 37. (output displayed, yet input is the same) http://stlcm.com/posted...

Re: Sub Phatty <-> Ableton - issues
I'm not quite sure the Moog VST Plug-In works the way you're trying to make it work. It's not an Access TI VST where it uses the hardware to process but the audio comes out of your DAW. The Moog synth is not an audio interface. The Moog VST controls the patch, but does not return the audio. The audi...

Moog Sub 37 & _________? I've got the Moog bug!
If I wanted to interface my Sub 37 with something modular to get more possibilities, what do you suggest?
Examples;
CP-251 Moogerfooger Control Processor
Mother-32
Werkstatt-01 Moogfest 2014 Kit

Re: Sub37 Editor Standalone Not Working, VST works
Taking your post, letter for letter. You updated the firmware, then downloaded and installed the editor. Did you install the new firmware that came with the editor?callahanryan12 wrote:Hey all,
Just bought a Sub37 a few days ago. First thing I did was update the firmware and download the editor.

Re: Phatty Sonic Tune Up benefits?
Absolutely. 14-bit MIDI and LFO reset is invaluable to me. Here's the list of features: http://www.moogmusic.com/products/phattys/phatty-sonic-tune I assumed that was a feature list of the OS upgrade, not the Sonic Tune Up hardware upgrade. I currently have Slim Phatty Firmware v3.21 installed. Do ...

Quite surprised to see quite a few banks of patches included. Nice banks. Easy to audition them prior to committing them to a permanent preset slot.
Firmware update went flawless too.
