Re: Voyager Filter Spacing double LP mode

This left/right channel nomenclature is not helping so lets start with... Filter A: Right channel Filter B: Left channel Now that is quite confusing! I'd never have expected this. In LP/LP mode the spacing controls affects only Filter B which again is the LEFT CHANNEL . And this is exactly how mine...

Re: Rack ear screws

Maybe find a local place that sells bolts & screws, or bring it into a hardware store & test for thread fit After giving this some more thought, I remembered that I have some SKB cases for my bass gear for which I had to order additional rack screws because they seemed to be a different siz...

Take a look at Greg's explanation in post #2

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3556&hilit=Spacing
So the behavior of mine is as expected.
Thank you very much for the link!

OK, after some digging I found this thread:

What happened to OS 3.6

Where the more recent developments are discussed and latest versions are linked.

Voyager Filter Spacing double LP mode

In LP/LP mode, equivalent negative and positive Filter Spacing values sound different. Fully positive sounds (right side) much brighter than fully negative (left side). Therefore, applying LFO modulation to Filter Spacing sounds asymmetric.

Is this normal?

Re: Disable save preset with double click the master

Just found this thread while looking for something completely different. I had no idea that there were more recent Voyager OS releases after 3.5. What is the reason that 7 years later the officially provided version on the Moog website is still 3.5? Has this 3.6 any issues? Are there other a...

Re: Rack ear screws

I found reference for a RME wooden handle kit, that apparently had a user manual Thank you very much. Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything specific in that link either. It’s somehow logical: Why should Moog be specific about parts which are originally delivered with the synth or included in the k...

Re: Rack ear screws

Indeed, your quote can be found in the original REM manual, which I don't have and is also not found on the Moog website. In the newer (?) Manual available from the Moog website which is for both the keyboard and rack mount edition, there is this text: Installing the RME in an Equipment Rack The Voy...

Re: Rack ear screws

I have the same problem and are waiting for an answer from Moog Tech Support for a week now.

Does anybody have an official answer to this question? I'm especially worried about the maximum length and proper thread.

Re: VST - Difference between Editor and Editor-VI?

By pure chance, I just stumbled upon the following explanation in a recent video by Jef Gibbons: Subsequent 37 Editor (VI) can be used as main plugin of an instrument track. The audio has to be routed to a separate audio track. Subsequent 37 Editor can be used as effects plugin on an instrument trac...

Re: VST - Difference between Editor and Editor-VI?

That does again not explain why there are two versions of the VST plugin with different names available:
  • Subsequent 37 Editor
  • Subsequent 37 Editor (VI)

Seems nobody really knows.

Having the same question, I sent a request to Moog Tech Support yesterday evening. I’ll post their answer.

Re: Sub Phatty: OCTAVE knob problem

Just to add some data for future reference: In January 2019, I brought my Sub37 (bought in February 2016) to the service center to be upgraded to a Subsequent 37. The technician doing the upgrade contacted me because both octave knobs were dead and needed to be replaced as well. Although the Sub37 w...

Way Cool!

Sorry I missed your posts back then. Just saw it last night, downloaded the patches and tried them. There’s definitely some tricks in your sound design I‘d never thought of.

Thank you very much!
