Re: New Moog Website Design
Yeah I am also in the not to happy with the new web site camp. I also find it a bit of a PITA to navigate. In fact it doesn't even work in IE (Yeah you can yell at me all you want for using IE but the fact is that I don't usually have much problem with IE). In IE all I get is the animation of the re...

RIP Moogerfooger
Just got an email stating that Moog has ceased production of the Moogerfooger line. I have one of each and actually 2 of the 104m's. I got the second one for a price I couldn't pass up. It's mentioned that they've been producing them for 20 years so I guess that's a pretty good run.

Re: Claim of delays on Grandmother on Gearslutz
I got lucky, I was just actually trying out my Grandmother that I just picked up today then saw this thread. I was talking to my friend last week at GC and he said that they did get a couple in even before Moogfest. He said they were the Moogfest editions that come with the Moog Slinky and order for...

Re: Some Minifoogers Left Here:
I actually just bought a used Chorus I found on Craigslist yesterday for a decent price. I've been kicking around picking one for quite some time. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet though. I also have the Delay and Drive. Plus I have all the Moogerfoogers which I want to build a rack for.

Re: knob upgrade for DFAM
I just received my knobs from Thonk in the post today. Got them quicker than I thought coming from the UK to the US. The really do spiff up the looks of the DFAM. Thanks for the heads up there James. Don't know how you got yours so quick. Did you do the super duper fast shipping? Actually no, I jus...

Re: knob upgrade for DFAM
Yeah I also ordered them yesterday from Thonk. I really didn't even think about putting knobs on mine until I saw the video and thought that it really does look quite a bit nicer.jamesfarrell wrote:Yeah I bent over and ordered from the UK and will see then in 2 months when they arrive.

Re: Missing items in new Subsequent 37 purchase
Yeah of all the Synths I've picked up in the last couple of years have all been missing the chops that other people seem to get. :D The Subsequent editor is now available, I think if you register the Subsequent you will then be provided a links to DL the editor. The Sub 37 editor does work with the ...

Re: Subsequent Went Out Of Tune During Show!
That doesn't sound to good (no pun intended). When I got my Subsequent 37 (after trading in my Sub 37) mine had one key that was out of tune. I thought "Crap" so this is what I get for trading in my perfectly good Sub37. Now I am going to have to already get it exchanged. After messing wit...

MOOG Modular or Model D photo posters?
I've been looking for a nice Photo Poster of either a fair sized modular like either a Model 55 or larger like a KE setup. That or even a nice Photo of a Model D. But most of what I've come across that is currently available is artwork of Synths which are nice on their own but that isn't what I am l...

Re: Sub 37 vs subsequent 37
I did mention this in another thread but I will reiterate it here. This still might not answer your question though. My first Synth ever was the Sub37. I came across it at a local music store and thought WOW this is a Moog and relatively affordable. But I am not a keyboard player and don't know anyt...

Re: Gaze into my Minimoog Power Supply crystal ball...
Now what I really need is a Minimoog dustcover. I don't want one that says "Voyager" on it.... I've found dust covers online but all of them seem to require you to fold the control panel back down flat. I don't want to do that every time I want to cover it up. I did have one made from a c...

Re: Firmware for Subsequent 37
That's a good question. I have had a couple little quirks pop up with my Subsequent that I've had for only about a week. I was thinking about re-installing the firmware but like you discovered there isn't any to download specifically under the Subsequent 37.
