Re: 1.6 update ?

Just receiving poly aftertouch via DIN or USB MIDI is no rocket science and was done by synth manufactures in the last 30 years. Even the original Waldorf microWave had this. Yes, Poly Aftertouch MIDI transmission is available since a long time, I owned Ensoniq VFX and TS-10 back in the days. That'...

1.6 update ?

1.5 landed almost one year ago. It made the One solid and definitive. But users requests is such a big list that we are still expecting the One to be the best instrument it could be. Maybe we have been waiting for such a long time to get 1.5. Either : - we unconsciously expect to wait a looong time...

Re: Matt Johnsons Sound Pack

The aforementioned video gives some very interesting tips as well. This bank is great and presets are very useable. Which is refreshing compared to most Factory presets (my first couple of hours with M1 was to delete most of them). In the same vein, I would recommend Luke Neptune Bank which aims to ...

Re: Next 1.5 update, when ?

October conversation with Moog support gave info that update will come this spring. May 14, here we are ! and still nothing... Will this be a 1.5 update ? (CV issues fixes, etc...) or 2.0 update as everybody here is wishing for, getting access to major improvements like MPE support or else. About MP...

Re: Whats about Moog One Firmware 2.0 ????????????

The Moog One, on a development standpoint still has soooooo much potentia I am with you. To me PolyAT is my "most wanted". But I also consider that, even unfinished, Moog One is already an extraordinary instrument already part of many famous recordings. Very flexible, unique in its ergono...

Re: Whats about Moog One Firmware 2.0 ????????????

I am so much wishing you would be right. But sadly, don't hope too much, update will arrive in a couple months mainly about CV's issue and stucked notes type of bugs. At least that's the reply I got on the phone by Moog support, confirmed since thru other forums. Now the arising discussion is about ...

Re: Next 1.5 update, when ?

expecting the next firmware release by April. It looks like they are consistent about this, I had the same reply from Moog back in October : I called them today and spoke with a very friendly person at Customer Service. He said there are a few updates coming but a safe bet for 1.5 would be spring 2...

Re: One as upgrade from Sub 37?

polys have to be a little thinner so that when you play chords they don't sound too muddy. I'm not so sure about this. If you have any possibilities to get close to an Oberheim OB-X, an OB-Xa or a Memorymoog wich is even fatter than OB's, it will change your opinion. The Memorymoog is so fat that i...

Next 1.5 update, when ?

6 monthes since v1.4. It's a long time between updates. Does this mean they are working on a major 1.5 (2.0 ?) update ?

I hope sequencer bugs solved and poly aftertouch compatibility.

Re: Are You Happy with Your Moog One? (Considering buying)

I love my Moog One. - Wonderful and beautiful sound, not as superfat as a Memorymoog but a wider palette and much easier to blend in a mix. - Extraordinary possibilities. It's a programable polyphonic modular. And this would be nothing without the very clever ergonomics giving access to everything f...
