I'll choose the Muse because it's stereo and I love the sound.

I own a Prophet V rev3 since back in the days. It has a beautiful smooth and sexy sound. Rev4 is a wonder as well ...

Downloaded fresh copy of the installer from Moog Music.

1.0.7 install went through smoothly.

My Moog Messenger current Firmware is 1.0.4.
Messenger USB C directly connected to Mac, appears within AudioMidi Setup as "Moog Messenger".

I downloaded Messenger Firmware Updater (Mac Version) For Firmware 1.0.7. When opened, Updater says :
"Device current firmware version: 1.0.4". Update ...

Just receiving poly aftertouch via DIN or USB MIDI is no rocket science and was done by synth manufactures in the last 30 years. Even the original Waldorf microWave had this.

1.5 landed almost one year ago. It made the One solid and definitive.

But users requests is such a big list that we are still expecting the One to be the best instrument it could be.

Maybe we have been waiting for such a long time to get 1.5. Either :

October conversation with Moog support gave info that update will come this spring. May 14, here we are ! and still nothing...

Will this be a 1.5 update ? (CV issues fixes, etc...) or 2.0 update as everybody here is wishing for, getting access to major improvements like MPE support or else.

I am with you. To me PolyAT is my "most wanted". But I also consider that, even unfinished, Moog One is already an extraordinary instrument already part of many famous recordings. Very flexible, unique in its ergonomics ...

I am so much wishing you would be right.

But sadly, don't hope too much, update will arrive in a couple months mainly about CV's issue and stucked notes type of bugs. At least that's the reply I got on the phone by Moog support, confirmed since thru other forums.

polys have to be a little thinner so that when you play chords they don't sound too muddy.


I'm not so sure about this. If you have any possibilities to get close to an Oberheim OB-X, an OB-Xa or a Memorymoog wich is even fatter than OB's, it will change your opinion.
