Re: Patchbay Socket Damaged
It's a known issue. The nut was too tight, which put strain on the jack which then snapped off at the base (inside the unit). Put in an RMA and send it back for repair. Shouldn't take more than 2 weeks.

Re: Solar Rise help?
Just watched that video again.
There's no patching involved in the sounds used in that piece, the main addition is fairly liberal use of reverb. If you're looking for reverse engineering, I would recommend trying the Syntorial training program. It has nearly 200 lessons to teach you how to create ...

Re: Disabling sequencer, is it possible?
I was having this issue with my MPC 1000 at first as well. The fix was to disable MIDI Sync on the MPC. No I can record/play sequences from my MPC without activating the Mother's sequencer.

Re: Mother 32 as additional Voyager RME oscillators
You COULD do this...
Set the filters on the mothers to completely open, get a y connector to connect both of their respective outputs into the filter input of the voyager. That way everything would still get processed through the (far superior) dual low pass filter on the voyager.

Re: Mother 32 as additional Voyager RME oscillators
I didn't even look at it from that perspective, but totally makes sense. I wouldn't even need the vx-352 in this case, just control each of the 2 Mothers and the Voyager on the same midi channel simultaneously and patch to their respective inputs on my mixer/

Mother 32 as additional Voyager RME oscillators
I don't yet have the breakout boxes, but thinking it would be cool to stack my 2 M32s with my RME for a total of 5 oscillators. I'm new to modular, so...any advice on what how this might work?
Thanks!
