Re: Sub to Subsequent 37 - is there a Moog sticker for the panel?

I didn't realize there was an upgrade. How much did it cost and was it worth it? What are the main differences?

Re: Can an audio signal be used as a CV signal?

Ah ok, thank you. It worked but it does frequency modulation. I think what I actually might want is an envelope follower but I'll probably have to get a separate Eurorack module like this https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/A-119--doepfer-a-119-eurorack-external-input-envelope-follower-module to...

Can an audio signal be used as a CV signal?

I have a Sub 37 and a Korg SV-1. Can I take the audio out of either the line outs or headphone out of the Korg and plug it into the volume or filter CV of the Sub 37 to affect those controls as a control voltage? I'd just go ahead and do it but I don't want to damage anything. If that can't be done ...

Ah ok, that makes sense and is good to know. Too bad most phones don't have headphone jacks anymore.

Re: Matriarch Paraphony: Melody & Chords?

All this does help. Something I was also reading in the manual online after I left the store was that the keyboard velocity isn't connected to anything out of the box and so all the paraphonic notes only had one volume. I guess I could route that to the 4th osc mix volume and it would help it stand ...

Re: Best Midi Keyboard for Model 15 App?

How much of a delay is there with a Bluetooth keyboard? Is it noticeable at all? I was considering getting a camera converter to avoid that if got a keyboard for a portable rig.

Matriarch Paraphony: Melody & Chords?

I was playing a Matriarch in a store today and I love the lush 4-note chords you can make. However, when I played a 3-note chord in the left hand and melody in the right hand it was hard to hear the melody above the chords. Is there a way to change a setting to make that sound good? Maybe a note pri...

I think Glasper actually uses it all over his new mixtape as well: https://soundcloud.com/robertglasper/se ... feelings-3.

Is that a Moog One on Brittney Howard's new Album "Jaime"?

<t>Does anyone know if the synth sounds on Brittney Howard's new Album "Jaime" are a Moog One? I know Robert Glasper does most of the keys on that album and I'm pretty sure he has one. (He was part of the promo video and it's seen in his documentary for his latest mixtape.) I'm specifically thinking...

Re: Grandmother frimware evolutions suggestions

I've see videos on YouTube where the use the S/H at a high freq as a noise modulator.

I'd also love to see a duo mode capability. That's one of my favorite things about my Sub 37 because you can create some beautifully fat 2 note harmonies!

Use Sub37 with portable battery?

Would it be possible to use my Sub37 with a portable battery like the PowerJackery https://www.jackery.com/product/powerbar-77/ so that I would take it outdoors? The PowerJackery is 75W and the Sub37 is 13W. Would that damage the Sub37?

Any experiment w a custom Minitaur patch display?

I love my Minitaur but it would be really nice in live performance to be able to search through specific patches by name like the little screen on my Sub 37. I know I can connect it to my computer and use the editor but that’s too much and too distracting. Has any one tried to use an arduino to conn...

Re: Can I use a CP-251 to Attenuate my Beatstep CV?

Ok, thanks. That makes sense. I guess part of my concern is if it just doesn’t accept CV over 5V or if it is actually damaged immediately or gradually over time by CV over 5V.

Can I use a CP-251 to Attenuate my Beatstep CV?

So I have a CP-251, Beatstep* (the normal one, not the Pro) and a Minitaur. The CV Gate output of the Beatstep is 8V and the CV out is 1 Volt/octave, from 0V to 7V. My Minitaur has a limit of 5V+ for both Gate and CV. The CP-251 Attenuators, however, have a max input of 8V and the mixer has a max ou...
