Re: Permanent Hiss from Spectravox

I hear it too. I'm old (thus losing some ability to hear upper frequencies), but still it is there. Not destructive for me to the point of returning the unit. But I'm a bit concerned that the problem is bigger than I think, based on the posts here.

Spectravox manual

Just got the Spectravox. Seems and sounds very promising!

Did I miss something, or is a physical manual not a thing anymore? There was none in my box (but the comically un-informative Quickstart Guide was). I have always highly enjoyed Moog's attractive manuals, as I like looking into matters ...

Re: Replacement feet

This is good to know. I've had mine propped up on a block of wood for a while now. I assumed you couldn't get replacement feet for it. I'll have to get in contact with them. Thanks!
Don't hold you breath. I have three times in 18 months politely asked if I could buy a replacement rubber foot for ...

Re: Moog support slow and ignorant

If that is not ignoring me, thus being ignorant, I do not know what is

Don't wanna split hairs, but at least some could disagree to this. I understand the words as follows:

Ignore (verb):
To intentionally not listen or give attention to

Ignorance (noun):
Lack of knowledge, understanding, or ...

Re: Grandmother Road case/gig bag?

Looks good. Would you say that it offers the same protection as the case for the Sub 37 does?

I basically agree with all of the above. And I also noticed that it has become priceless.

Re: Choosing my first synth

There is also the Grandmother. Monophonic, two osc (with lfo osc. going into audio range). It has keyboard, and endless connectivity to external gear, and stuff within it self. And a wonderful spring reverb. I also think it is nice for learning about basic synthesis. I just got mine, and I don't ...

Sad. They were my entry into the modular world.

But I see the point. For each I have bought, I have noted that Moog and I could save a lot, by somehow going full- or semimodular. I mean, when I finally got one of the ...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

The Grandmother has landed. :D :D :D

Pre-ordered it at Thomann, Germany, on the US release date. Estimated waiting time 8-9 weeks. Came on time as promised. :D

I hope for hours and hours of fun with this. Right now it is resting after the long journey.

PS: There must be high demand for it ...

I also sent a (admittedly minor) question quite a while ago. I don't think I will ever get an answer. Maybe redesign, so customers don't think they can expect answers to anything.

Re: Claim of delays on Grandmother on Gearslutz

European here. I have pre-ordered the GM at Thomann.de, and they have just recently given more specific info about availability (initially it just said 'unknown'). They write expected within 6-7 weeks.

They are usually quite reliable in that dimension as well.
