The whole concept of using a Fender Bassman seems logical enough. Would you really have to use a combo? One would have more flexibility with speaker choices while using an older Fender head. I wanted tube driven reverb as well as the tube sound, so I picked up a Fender PA 135 (2 cabs each with a 12 ...

The Radio Shack trick is cheap, plus you get long cables out of the deal, which I find useful when you are using a MF LFO with a remote device. The patch bay method is practical, particularly if one has the MF's arranged rack style. I have my patch bay just beneath the CP-251, while 3 of my MF's ...

I visited Walt Disney World during the late 70's and was blown away at age 13 or 14 by the Michael Iceberg show in Orlando, Florida. The Electic Light Parade music did not hurt (Baroque Hoedown by Perrey & Kingsley). I bought a MicroMoog within months for around 100.00 (hard to pinpoint an exact ...

I am happy to hear about the Source. I have been trying to get my Mini to sound exactly like a Taurus for over a decade. Forget the suggested setting in the manual. I read that can not be done due to the idiosyncratic processing of the sound. I have tried different combinations of chorus and phasers ...

I do not have an Odyssey, but can say that this does work with my ARP Axxe III. The 1/8 inch jacks are weak, I have to jiggle the cord in place until it "catches".....perhaps you have the same problem? The sample and hold on my Axxe does not function, so the CP really came to the rescue in this case.

It has been around 20 years since my Polymoog was working but from time to time I come across musically horrible tapes which I had made using the beast. The saving grace of the tapes is the moody sound of the Polymoog as the tapes remind me of the most unique section, that titled "Resonators." One ...

Rakuza,
I use the CP-251 more with the Resonator and for sending voltage to the filters of an Arp Axxe and Micromoog. You can run most anything through the Resonator, I happen to use a low budget Roland SH-09 due to its stability. I am not that creative for using the CP-251 with the Fat Controller ...

It is just a 25 year old hobby for me at this point. I often play guitar or keyboards while the frostwave works with sequenced patterns of whatever analog synth I have devoted it to. The patterns can come off as bland without it. Incidentally, the sequencer is made by the same Australian company ...

Go for it........

Paul has an excellent reputation for service after a sale of one of his products. I run my Resonator constantly in conjunction with the LFO/S&H of the MoogerFooger Control Processor CP-251. They function together without a hitch, from my perspective. I could not imagine using the Resonator as much ...

>Why wouldn't it? It transmits control voltage, and moogerfoogers have CV inputs. Only thing you have to worry about is powering it with a battery or AC adaptor, and paying about 4x the price of something new!

BTW...Roland makes a very nice expression pedal if you're looking for something ...

new models

I would first to see a new model ala the Control Processor CP-251 with complementary components, that would be rack mountable. It would nicely fill the space alongside the CP251 in the rack mount kit.
A Flanger model would be great for those of us without the discontinued delay model. Otherwise, I ...
