Hmm. Just checked on my Model 15 RI (no kb) and do not get that effect at all.
I understand that the controller outputs are totally passive until a kb is connected (so much so that I use them as extra mults a lot!) I also could not see any voltage at all on the CV outs and the scope certainly shows ...

Re: Troubleshooting Old 905 Reverb Unit
Thanks for the photos.
So yours is a production model, with rear connector and serial number...! :)
Here are a few photos of mine...
Wow Tom - those pics of your pre-production are
I wonder how many were produced like that?
Imagine the outrage if a modern module was delivered like ...

Moog 901s, clones & 'home-brew'
(This is a continuation of 901 discussions from a thread about 921 oscillator syncing…)
Sorry Tom, you are my only source of home-brew 901s. I’m sure there are some more in the moog-o-sphere though!
The current semi-commercial 901 clones are not ‘true’ clones in the way yours is. I guess we use ...

Re: Oscillator sync
I guess I'm referring to both types - both clones and hb like yours.
What really impresses me with yours is that it's a true A/B comparison - and boy they are sooo close I doubt if anyone could pick it in a blind test.
The cloners also produce great 901s, but without the A/B live comparison it's ...

Re: Oscillator sync
Oops  Corrected - thanks.
I just can't seem to get 901s out of my mind...

Well, that's understandable - they do sound a lot nicer... :D
And it's all your fault NP  - Since watching your 901 comparison vid I think I'm on the slippery slope...

Re: Oscillator sync
I’ve only just received my Model 15, so I’m still a newbie with the Moog modules.
But I’ve noticed that if you send a slow sine wave to modulate the synchronising waveform, then the synced oscillators will move in and out of sync. They don’t do this smoothly but try and ‘hang-on’ to the ...

Re: The 'new' Moog Modular Synthesizer Owner’s Manual
They manual they refuse to sell to the general public.
Yep. I guess it's all part of the 'exclusivity' of the 15, 35 and 55 Reissues.
In one sense I can see where Moog is coming from, but on the other hand I think there
would be many buyers for it even at a premium price.

One of the wigglers on the Muffs forum went and had a look at the beast.
He got some sounds out of it, but it needs a complete overhaul. You would have to factor that into the price :?

The 'new' Moog Modular Synthesizer Owner’s Manual
I’ve just received my Moog Model 15 (had to visit the Crossroads and sell my soul for it :-) )
I’ll talk about it in another post when I’ve spent more time with it, but I thought It would be useful just to add to the topic about the included manual.
It’s a lovely cloth-bound hardcover book of 190 ...
