To be honest I don't know why but it does work as expected. I installed the midi driver and the editor and now, touch wood, I can have the editor on a midi track with the vi version which now does allow connecting to the minitaur usb.

are there any good tutorials on how to use the minitaur in a modular setup?
I am a bit confused and would be happy if someone could point me into the right direction.
Also I am wondering whether it is possible to control it using midi as well as CV. So lets say I am using midi for note on off ...

Hi, as I still haven't managed to get the editor working relieablely I have to use the minitaur without it.
Is there a way to choose the way the envelopes react when playing legato (I want the filter envelope not to be triggered again)

Problem solved. The patches the unit came with were spread like 1. init patch 2. patch 1 3. init patch 4. patch 2 so I thought something is wrong whereas in fact i just listened to the same patch every second time.

I just managed to get the miniature running with the plugin in live.
Everything good so far.
Now when I have a bassline going the miniature completely ignores midi cc sent by live.
I didn't test all cc's in fact just vcf attack but it really doesn't work properly.
