New Moog Vocoder Anyone?
I know the economics probably don't make sense, but I really wish Moog would re-release or make a newer version of the analog, classic Bode / Moog Vocoder. Every so often I start messing around with Vocoder sounds (more old-school stuff) and none of the software plug-ins or digital effects boxes see...

Re: Sub 37 editor/librarian and VST plugin
I think what is so frustrating for everyone is that we've all been told for well over a year that the software will be ready "soon". Also Moog has done very little to update its customers as to the status of the the software and the obvious issues that they're having getting the software r...

Same here; I'd be willing to be a BETA tester as well. I'm currently a BETA tester for a major software vendor and am familiar with the testing protocols and NDA's.

Makes sense. I also confirmed directly with Moog sales that this is a limited run exclusively for Sweetwater and a European vendor.Croyote wrote:

Re: New Panasonic BBD Chip Clone - Moog Please Make a Delay
I was able to pick up an MF-104M from Sweetwater this weekend :D ! My salesman at Sweetwater said that Moog was able to cobble together a VERY LIMITED number of MF-104M's with an exclusive distribution with only Sweetwater and one European vendor. He also said that this would "probably" be...

Re: Do I need a Sub37??
Hi J-P-G, I'm in a similar situation as you. I'm a 30+ year guitar player who was looking to add some cool monophonic synth backgrounds, ambiance, and beats to my music. I've always been intrigued with Moog's synths and finally decided to pull the trigger and get a Sub37. I agree with your philosoph...

Re: New Panasonic BBD Chip Clone - Moog Please Make a Delay
++1 Yes, Moog, please somehow replace or resurrect the 104M, 104M SD, etc. It is just "cruel" that ALL the new demo videos (including Moog's own videos) that showcase Moog's newest and greatest products (Sub 37, Mother 32, etc) ALL show these products being used with a 104M and the wonderf...

Same here!!! Thanks midilifestyle for the in-depth comparison! Also, great tip, _DemonDan_!

Re: Noob Question: CP-251 vs. Mother-32
Thanks for the info Stuka! I knew that they were both designed for different purposes, but you answered my question of if/how the Mother-32 can be used as a controller as well (like the CP-251).
Although I definitely see where having both would be REALLY nice......................
