Re: Strange tempo behaviour - Subsequent 37
There's another tempo/sync bug that may possibly be related, re. the slow tempo : https://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=27742&p=163769#p161950 Anyway, the S37 seems to be ripe with sync/tempo bugs. Also when used a s a sync master it can get confused with it's own clock and goes o...

Sub 37 firmware update?
@Amos - we have not heard from any Moog rep here since 2016.
A firmware update was talked about back in 2016... There are bugs and quirks to fix and essential features to add.
Will there be a last update to bring this instrument to completion?

Re: Actual BPM value (internal) in display?
That's not possible. Together with displaying stored vs edited parameter values, this is the most requested feature. Unfortunately, the Sub 37 appears to be abandonware. (There are outstanding bugs and essential feature requests, and a firmware update was planned, but there has been zero participati...

Re: "Sunken" key Subsequent37
They keys are sprung upwards, so it may be some foreign material or excess keybed frame, or even key, -material that prevents the key from reaching its upper position. If you feel confident about opening up the synth, remove the front panel - quite easy, screws on the sides. The bit that stops the k...

Re: Sub37 Sequencer will not record new sequences
OK, so not external factors and no configuration strangneness.
It's not impossible that the REC position of the PATTERN switch isn't being recognized. You could try wiggling the switch a bit in the REC position, applying a little sideways force (not too much!).

One thing that may be worth trying is to reset the system parameters:

Re: Mod 2 LFO rate knob issue
You could try a potentiometer calibration. If that doesn't help it's probably a failing pot.
The instructions and sysex files for Sub 37 pot calibration are attached.

Re: selector switches don't click
I think that's an "impossible" question... I would demand a non-defective replacement, or go to another dealer. However, if this is the only way to get your hands on a Sub 37, and your dealer can't deliver a defect free product, they (or you...) can contact Moog tech support and check if a...

Re: selector switches don't click
It should not be like that. All the S37s I've tried have a light, but positive, latching action on all the rotary switches. The envelope pot issue sounds like a defect pot, with a wiper that's loosely attached to the axle. Very unlucky there - you should get a replacement.

That's great news! I wish they would communicate a bit with us though. They used to respond to postings on the forum and confirm bugs etc..

Re: Sub37 Pitch Bend Wheel as Mod Source?
Your observations are correct. The Sub 37 needs one final firmware update to fix the remaining bugs and niggles, and to complete what you've mentioned. If they ever do that and make the pitch wheel a mod source, I'd hope they'd do it for the mod wheel and aftertouch too - I've explained the roundabo...

Re: New Moog Website Design
They do listening: Recieved a friendly email from the Moog Media Department who read this thread and were listening to suggestions. I also got an e-mail after first e-mailing Moog. If they read the forum there's no indication of it, and in any case they don't participate by posting anymore it seems...

Re: New Moog Website Design
Fellow Moog fans and paying customers (paying for the website among other things...), I don't think Moog reads their own forums anymore. At least they have not responded to anything here for an eternity now (been lobbying for Sub 37 bug fixes). Thus I suggest sending an e-mail to info@moogmusic.com ...

Re: New Moog Website Design
It's the worst UX I've hit upon on the web. I'll just repeat what I said elsewhere: I've tried navigating around and looking at content there. It's the worst mess I've ever seen from 'professionals'. On a single page I get horizontal scrolling content with the vertical scroll wheel without a scrollb...
