Re: Sub 37 as MIDI controller (beat step pro or maschine)
As far as a sampler and sequencer in standalone, I love the Maschine. However, I haven't been too impressed with it's ability to send MIDI to my Sub 37 or my Slims. It seems to cause stuck notes quite frequently and, occasionally, I'm not able to clear them using the panic shortcut and am forced to ...

Re: Complimentary Euro Rack Modules for M32(s)
I would look into a complete envelope generator, seeing as how the Mother 32 only appears to have adjustable attack and decay, but no sustain or release. Other than that, well, you can't go wrong with a Make Noise Maths or Mutable Instruments Clouds. However, those 2 modules are going to take a nice...

Here's one I just filmed experimenting with chords and knobs:

Re: Sub 37 / Slim Phatty polychain videos
I've recorded a couple videos of some improv sequences/knob tweaking using the Sub 37 along with two Slim Phatties in polychain mode. Nothing too crazy really, just kind of shooting from the hip. Check them out when you have a moment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9ZbugNpTnI https://www.youtube....

No Minitaurs in the mix, but here's the Sub 37 with 2 Slim Phatties: https://youtu.be/W5YHBoMf1X0

Re: Sub 37 poly chain questions
I don't have a Minitaur, so I can't speak for it. However, the Sub 37 is pretty compatible with the Slim. Almost every knob and setting on the Sub 37 will manipulate the equivalent parameter on the Slim, with the exception of the 2 Mod sections. (The Slim doesn't seem to respond to the MOD amount, P...

Re: Any way to disable Slim Phatty's arpeggiator ?
I noticed this problem when I would control the SP with my Sub 37, but discovered that turning the Sub 37's appegiator speed knob all the way down disables the arp on the SP. Therefore, I didn't need to dive through the manual. Not sure if there's a shortcut with the gear you're using. I'd say hit u...

Re: Ultraslim Sub 37 Module
I see. Yeah, I'd be interested in something like that, as long as you could dial in and save patches on it for going multitimbral. I don't think it would sell very well though, seeing as how it would only appeal to those who own a Sub 37.

Re: Sub 37 & Slim Phatties polychain issue
Ok, after fiddling around, I THINK I fixed the problem. By switching the ECHO DIN IN setting to DIN, I can now play/sequence notes polyphonically with a DAW/midi contoller. It's on like Donkey Kong, now!

What do you mean it's duplicating notes? Could you provide more detail?

Re: Slave a Slim Phatty to a Sub 37?
Yes, they can be polychained. I'm running a polychain with my Sub 37 as voice #1 and two Slim Phatties as voices #2 & #3. When you get it all hooked up, use the sequencer on the Sub 37. Awesome things can come about when doing so!

Re: Sub 37 & Slim Phatties Polychained...
Having given this more thought, there has to be a way to control all 3 voices with a DAW/MIDI controller because you're required to do it when you have a Slim Phatty-only polychain. Maybe I'll try reversing the order of voices to where the Sub 37 serves as voice #3. But, in theory, that really shoul...
