Re: Voyager XL Oscillator 2 + 3 Tuning

I have tuned my Voyager with the help of the method in the Gearslutz link. I don't know if the XL shares the same analog board and/or layout. Its a blessing getting your Voyager in tune again if you are using presets, because they all take the starting point from that the Osc being in tune when at z...

Re: Production halting on Voyager XL

Hmm.. what is to come.. Now Moog are left with the Model D in this segment, which is kinda cool and nostalgic, but hey.. a none preset synth is just a memory trip (with no memory), but in real life a real pain and really limited in live situations not at least. I think it will be rather cold soon. T...

Re: LFO going mad

Thanks Stevie! Well, you're probably right, and I agree! But sometimes it has effects, some way or another.. ;) And, often there are persons with a lot of competence in these nerd worlds, willing to help out. Isn't this what forums is about? =) Rumori: Based on my description of the problem, it is ...

LFO going mad

Hi all, The LFO runs crazy after a some minutes of playing on my Voyager with serial 1806. The LFO led can go flickering strange or just freeze and the effect of the modulation busses is weird. It always works perfect when started for the day and I always get it to work properly after a reboot and a...

Re: Initial click only on line outs

The 22 august, I returned the Moog to the shop claiming warranty. They examined it and found more problems, It did´t behave as it should in many ways according to them, so they sent it away to the Swedish distributor. Yesterday, three months later, I got it back with a complete new analog board. And...

Re: Initial click only on line outs

I rephrase my question, to be more clear..

Does any of your voyagers have initial clicks, like electrostatic discharge, in a broad range of sounds, at the same time that it can´t be heard at all through the headphone jack, only trough the line outs?

Regards, Mikael

Re: Initial click only on line outs

Thx for the answers! =) I know that, but I think this is a lot more, apparent on a broader range of sounds. I have to turn the attack away so much that the punch disappears. And not to forget, these clicks doesn't exist in the headphone outs! Do you mean that that is normal to? To me, the voyager so...

Re: Voyager Knobs

Hi Scott,

Bought my Voyager last week, about 10 years old. A little bit of difference between knobs, but nothing that bothers me. They feel tight and really solid. The filter knob is a bit lighter, maybe because it is the one being used most..?

Initial click only on line outs

Hi all you voyagers! I bought my voyager serial 1806 last week. A used synth in excellent condition (at least the outside). I did the demo in the shop through headphones and it sounded gorgeous, of course! When i jacked it up via the line outs to the mixer at home, I heard lots of unpleasent initial...
