Doh! Mistook it for headphone volume or something I guess. Thank you for putting me out of my self-inflicted misery.
Now I should check out what the new firmware does for me. (So glad for this forum resource and kindly advise.)

B-flat Matriarch?
I don't know why, but when I play C using the calibrated 1st oscillator, it produces B-flat. And all other notes are likewise pitched one note down. I tried calibrating. I also finally updated to the latest firmware (which was not as smooth as you would think out of the new application procedure). A...

Re: Expanding the 15 with MoogerFoogers
Wow. That's the kind of set-up that would make me question whether I should record on a reel to reel and send it straight to record pressing (like Citizen Vinyl right there in Asheville, downstairs from where the new Moog management is going to set-up). What a holy set-up!

Expanding the 15 with MoogerFoogers
It wasn't planned. I had 3 of my Fooger pedals before the opportunity of buying a newly built Modular, right down the street from where I lived, presented itself. But for all the cool effects they offer for various instruments, the 4 MFs have remained permanently parked against the 953 keyboard for ...

Re: InMusic Blows.
InMusic announces in the Asheville Citizens Times that it will move into the space currently occupied by the Citizens Times (highlighting the detrimental effect of modern capitalism on local news media) and possibly engage Citizens Vinyl records production/studio/cafe, which is on the bottom floor o...

Re: Ever-So-Slight Hum Coming from Model 15 Reissue?
I don't recall the hum before I relocated, and when I did I transported the 15 in the car as gently as I could. When I set it up again, I noticed the hum. I called Asheville (before the acquisition) and talked to someone in the shop who assured me that the 15 comes with such a comparatively whopping...

Re: Can any Matriarch owners please check if they have the same issue?
i've had mine for a couple of months. in unison mode pressing just one key activates all 4 oscillators. in duo mode, pressing one key activates oscillators 1&2. in paraphonic mode, pressing one key activates just oscillator 1. so at least in my case, the oscillator response is exactly as adverti...

Matriarch delay's "hidden capabilities"?
just got this wonder synth and have been reading up on it. In Gordon Reid's recent Sound on Sound review he says "There are also a couple of ‘hidden’ capabilities but there’s no space to discuss these here, so let me summarise by saying that you can use the Delays to obtain sounds ranging from ...

Re: Moog Modular Expansion & Power Requirements
shoot. i thought adding a few foogers to my 15 was extravagant. (though it solves the power requirements.)

Re: Moog Modular with MIDI
while i was waiting on the availability of the moog keyboard a couple of years' ago, a clever tech here in Asheville wired together a plug that let me play my 15 with an Akai Max 49. one of these days i got to sit down and try to remember the specific connections, so i can take advantage of the 49s'...

953 Duophonics
can't believe it took me so long to take advantage of this Moog 'board. (and i'm someone who's kept my Arp Odyssey in full repair primarily for its great duophonics.) but my weak experimenting with the 953 ended with just figuring that the first row of the triggering control was low note priority an...

w/o the video you're referring to, i can only speculate that you might combine a filter on the 923 cluster along with the 904.

Re: For investors primarily?
last fall i ran into a couple of guys who used to work for Dr. Bob, at a street concert in Asheville. i asked if they had an opinion about the software emulation that Bob gave his OK on, and they smiled and said nothing sounds like a real moog modular. so when moog announced the limited run last Jan...
