Re: Reissue Model D Midi issue
It also sometimes retriggers the note when I left my finger off the key. I think incorrect note-off messages might be causing these issues.

Re: Reissue Model D Midi issue
Can you elaborate on that?Minimooger wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 11:02 am that does not work because the local off implementation in the mini reissue is fishy . however there are modifications on the market which do a great leapfrog in terms of midi for the mini .

Re: Reissue Model D Midi issue
Update: I finally was able to get the new “keyboard scan” pcb that Moog sold me ($82). No change to the issue. If I have ableton taking midi FROM the synth, with midi local off, and processing the midi data (ableton native arpeggiator) and sending the midi BACK to the synth, I don’t hear the arpeggi...

Reissue Model D Midi issue
I'm pulling my hair out. I have a reissue model D. My ideal setup would be: Synth with local control off > midi out into Ableton live > Ableton midi track using the model D as a keyboard/midi to the model D > audio from synth to my interface. The reasoning for treating the keyboard and synth separat...

Re: Moog MU panels
Where are you located? I'm always interested in anodized panels. Curious to see your modular arrangement, I clicked on the links in your signature. Neither is valid. Thought you'd want to know. Thanks for letting me know. I don't frequent the forum much anymore, and I've already changed cases a few...

Re: Come on Moog....why no Black Subsequent 37 CV?
My guess. And it is a guess. Is that after the 2000 Aluminum CV units are gone, they will offer the CV OUT mod as an upgrade (factory or field) to Subsequent37 owners, like they did with the little Phatty. Seems like bad business to go through all of that R&D, and rewriting the firmware, just fo...

Re: My VoyagerXL isn't SENDING midi
The techs at Moog have finished the repairs. Apparently a blown IC chip on the MIDI daughterboard was the culprit, but they replaced the whole board for good measure.

Re: Can I buy a Fatar keybed from a Subsequent 37 for my Sub
I like your thinking but I would anticipate that the resale value of the Sub 37 might be about to fall, due to the arrival of the Subsequent plus there is another fundamental problem for me... ... Sell? Sell one of my synths? Are you mad? :D The only synth I have ever sold was the MS20 re-issue wit...

Re: Can I buy a Fatar keybed from a Subsequent 37 for my Sub
I would suggest this. Rather than upgrading your Sub37, just sell it and get the subsequent37. Here's why. 1. Average used price for a Sub37 is about $1100. 2. If Moog WAS going to sell the Fatar upgrade, it'd cost $150 easily. I know this because the UltraNova keybed from Novation can be purchased ...

Re: My VoyagerXL isn't SENDING midi
Well, the service tech at Moog had me open up the back to look for any dislodged cables. No luck. It's now boxed up and ready to ship back to Asheville, via Sweetwater in Fort Wayne. It's a good thing I keep all the original packaging and boxes. Everyone, please send good vibes, positive energy or p...

Re: My VoyagerXL isn't SENDING midi
Sweetwater tech support had me do a factory reset on the voyagerXL. No luck. All signs are pointing to a hardware issue. I'm kind of dreading having to ship this thing to Asheville for what is most likely a dislodged ribbon connector or something.

Re: My VoyagerXL isn't SENDING midi
The MIDI THRU seems to have been working fine the last time I used it, but I was only using that port to sync some midi delay units, so I didn't verify that it was passing thru note data, but I have no reason to think that it wasn't.

My VoyagerXL isn't SENDING midi
My voyagerXL isn't sending any midi data. It receives it just fine. But I have Midi Output "On" and a channel selected, and am using a verfified functional cable, and it is sending no data. I have tried by connecting it to ableton, as well as two different desktop synths. No luck. Does any...
