Re: Best stand for Sub37?
By modular, I meant the kind (like Gibraltar) where you build your own configuration out of their tubes, and various connectors. You order the pieces you need and they all go together. Not at all portable and a bit expensive. Popular amongst drummers, but you can usually order keyboard configuration...

Re: Which stereo effects unit?
The noise I was referring to comes into play on the cables, not the unit itself. Balanced cables flip polarity, run the signal in opposite polarity, then flip them again at destination cancelling noise picked up on the way.

Re: Best stand for Sub37?
I have both my Kronos and Sub 37 on Z stands. I play seated. I have never liked X stands - find they bounce too much. The Z stand I have for the Sub 37 is a permanent style Z that I got for about $50 - I think presonus, and it's solid a a rock. I think the main questions are: 1) do you play standing...

Re: Which stereo effects unit?
That makes sense - like Toyota designing the original Prius. R&D costs very high, with limited sales as they ramped up production (and then long waits). One question about the H9 that I couldn't find an answer to is whether it has balanced or unbalanced inputs/outputs. Not much difference from t...

Re: Which stereo effects unit?
I run my Sub 37 into my Korg Kronos (then out to speakers), and use its effects. Especially reverb. It does a great job, however, my personal preference is to have more tactile control via real knobs and switches versus a touch screen. But since it's 'free' given I have a Kronos, I can live with it....

I wouldn't miss it. If it was a comprehensive "how to" -- I'd even buy it.

Re: Synthesis Tutorials
I'm currently working on the one called Syntorial - available in the Apple App Store. The first modules are free, and then you buy them after that. It's not bad - there are direct videos showing applications to Voyager which are similar to Sub 37. There are 200 modules so it's not a ten minute tutor...
