In the stand-alone app it is possible to configure the MIDI settings and map the CC's via midi learn. In the AU version the MIDI option is not available under Settings. Just tested the LFO1 and it acts the same way.
Now I'm not sure if it is supposed to be that way? - I don't have much experience with earlier firmware versions.
Can someone else confirm?

Confirmed. LFO2 does not receive CC's unless SYNC is on.

Must be a bug.
