Re: Sub Phatty: OCTAVE knob problem
Is Moog still servicing these parts after the buyout I heard about? One of my octave knobs went out again (see my last post from 2015 when it was fixed).

Re: Sub Phatty mod source knob stopped working
I have similar problems, have emailed Moog, once in early Jan, and again late Jan. Yesterday I called them and left a message. Is there any secret to getting a reply from them? I know they are known for their good customer support, so am scratching my head over this... Thanks to anyone who can help...

Attack Curve vs Fast Decay
Hi, Was just looking at a Sub37 editor screenshot and noticed a feature called Attack Curve which chooses between LIN/EXP attack curve. I didn't, however, see the Fast Decay switch the Sub Phatty has. I assume these are both different functions but is there a reason why the SP has the Decay and the ...

What sound exactly? The little sfx noise that winds up into where the drums kick in?

Re: Sub Phatty update?
The editor now supports multi client IO so you can feed both the Sub and the DAW from its USB midi. This makes it a lot easier to setup as you don't need to connect the physical midi IO anymore.

Re: How to record Sub Phatty as MIDI into Logic 9, help?
Hi did you try connecting it with USB? Will probably be the easiest way as it will show up as an input into Logic.

Re: Sub Phatty Clicky Envelopes and Noise
This is normal. I had my unit serviced here locally for something else but while it was in I asked the tech about it. He let me listen to a Slim Phatty and it had the same 'issue' concerning the noise.
I found raising the multidrive up a little actually reduces the noise for some reason.

Re: alternate tunings for sub phatty? arpeggiator?
You'd need to give a little more info on how you are planning to use these synths, like what DAW etc...
Most DAWS will allow both arpeggiation and alternate tunings via either their own built in plugins or 3rd party ones.

Re: Need Sub Phatty editor and firmware update any news?
Still hoping for a 'drift' setting like the Sub 37 has. I was just thinking the other day it would be handy to be able to even just modulate the beat frequency so it's always drifting in between to value ranges instead of just being static. Guess I could automate that in a DAW though

Sub Phatty OSC volume level & saturation question
I've recently been experimenting with quite low volumes on the OSCs as up until now there was just always something about my Sub Phatty that slightly put me off. I did find that with a three OSC setup that setting the volumes to as low as 2 seemed to really open up the sound and make it warmer, more...

Sub Phatty cheat sheet typos
Hi, just noticed the cardboard 'cheat sheet' that comes with the Sub Phatty has two typos in the top section. There are two sentences using 'its' that are spelled 'it's' incorrectly.
"...within it's selected frequency..."
"...level at it's outputs."

Re: Sub Phatty Editor Won't Remember Presets
Not sure if you found the solution to this but figured I'd post what I did to solve it since this is the post that came up first when searching for a solution. After much randomly trying things I realized simply dragging the preset from the 'user' area over to the 16 slots on the right side of the l...
