Re: Sub 37 - Cutoff wigging out around 320Hz

Once Again, lot of sub 37 have this problem, and many more problems too, after 8 month I sent it back to the store and change it for a DSI PRO2......good construction, nice keyboard, fantastic sound and possibilities....no more problems

Re: Sub 37 - Cutoff wigging out around 320Hz

I had many many problems with this synth and this cut off problem too, they replaced it, but it only last too days.
After 7 month sent back the synth to the shop who changed it for a prophet 12.

Re: [Sub 37] Pitch wheel mis-calibrated?

Re: [Sub 37] Pitch wheel mis-calibrated?

Ok, after a month an half in repair, I got my sub37.
Apparently, many sub 37 had the same problem, they had to change the pitch wheel and the cutoff too, I bought my Moog 7 month ago in a store in Paris, it was new!!!!!

Re: [Sub 37] Pitch wheel mis-calibrated?

Well it seems many of us has this problem and this is noe EEPROM problem and recalibrating does nothing.
For the moment it seems there is nothing to do.

Re: [Sub 37] Pitch wheel mis-calibrated?

Ok i received the sysex files, i did the calibration, but finally the result is the same, sometimes it works sometimes not.
It s really boring because when it doesn t work and i use the pitch wheel, the the wheel comes back to the center position, the moog is out of tune!!!

Re: [Sub 37] Pitch wheel mis-calibrated?

Thank you Amos, apparently it s not an eprom problem, well i ve never tried to calibrate the pitch wheel by myself because i don t have the sysex files.
Now it seems to work correctly but sometimes not....
May be the next firmware will solve the problem?

Re: [Sub 37] Pitch wheel mis-calibrated?

Incredible, i ve pluged a master keyboard in midi to control the sub 37 and the pitch wheel of the master keyboard works perfectly and suddenly the pitch wheel of the sub began to work good, may be the midi has recalibrated the sub 37!!!!!
Now it works ok, but i d like to have the explanation
